A Study On The Publication Of Language Mongolian Ancient Books In The First Half Of The Twentieth Century

On July 16,2019,when inspecting Inner Mongolia University,the General Secretary stressed the need to strengthen the collection,collation,protection,excavation and promotion of Mongolian ancient books,and encourage the people of all ethnic groups to work together for common prosperity and development.In the first half of the 20 th century,people with insight set up publishing institutions in Zhangjiakou,Beijing,Houhe,Mukden,Kailu,Xinjing and other places,such as the Guohua Book Company,Mongolian Book House,Mongolian Culture Research Institute,East Mongolian Book Company and Mongolian Society,and published a large number and variety of ancient books,including Mongolian language and written ancient books.Language publications are an important part of the publications of modern publishing institutions.They are of great significance to the research of publishing science,linguistics and philology,so they deserve our attention and careful study.Taking 35 ancient books published by modern publishing institutions as the research object,this paper conducts a comprehensive and comparative study.First of all,on the basis of establishing the research object,the reason and significance of this paper,understanding the existing research situation and determining reasonable research methods,the background of book publishing and related publishing institutions in the first half of the 20 th century are comprehensively summarized,pointing out that the environment of book publishing,publishing and printing conditions are the main direct factors affecting the rise and fall of Mongolian publishing institutions in the first half of the 20 th century.Then,according to the actual situation at that time,it introduces and discusses the publishing institutions related to the publication of Mongolian ancient books.Secondly,this paper classifies Mongolian ancient books of language and writing published by publishing institutions in the first half of the 20 th century into two parts: Mongolian books of language and philology and dictionaries,and makes basic information statistics and classified statistics on Mongolian books and dictionaries of language and philology respectively.The author,compiler,version,compilation reason,content and influence of these ancient books are discussed in detail.At the same time,the different versions of Mongolian ancient books are compared.This content is the key of this paper.From the perspective of editing and publishing,it tries its best to solve the problems related to ancient books.Finally,language is not only a communication tool of cultural information,but also a carrier of cultural inheritance,carrying the whole human culture.In the first half of the 20 th century,the relevant publishing institutions played their part in the social environment of the time.The Mongolian language publications published by these publishing institutions have the characteristics of The Times.They not only developed the ethnic culture education and promoted the ideological progress of the people at that time,but also played an important role in the later publishing industry,the inheritance of ancient Mongolian books and the cultural exchanges among ethnic groups,and also have a high research value in promoting the communication,communication and integration of various ethnic groups.
