Based on the Ansys Electronics Desktop software and Aurora automated simulation cloud platform,this paper proposes a high-speed digital circuit signal integrity and power integrity co-simulation method based on the power delivery network(PDN)circuit connection model(Spice Netlist,the model file suffix is SP,so it is abbreviated as SP model later).Compared with the collaborative simulation method based on PDN resonance point,this method has higher accuracy and simpler operation process;Compared with the collaborative simulation method based on IBIS5.0 model,it has higher universality and lower chip design cost,and has higher research value.In this paper,the traditional and discrete simulation process of signal integrity and power integrity is introduced firstly,and the reason why the traditional simulation methods can not meet the requirements of modern high-speed digital circuit simulation is described in detail,and the current situation of the urgent need for more accurate collaborative simulation methods is also described.On this basis,the shortcomings of the two existing collaborative simulation methods are further analyzed,and a new collaborative simulation method based on the SP model of power distribution network is proposed referring to the way to improve the accuracy by converting the S parameter model into the SP model in the time domain circuit simulation of signal integrity.This method combines the advantages of the existing methods and avoids their respective defects,so it has higher engineering value.In the aspect of simulation method verification,this paper demonstrates and explains from three aspects.First of all,the simulation results obtained by the traditional simulation method and the new collaborative simulation method are compared to verify that the signal quality does deteriorate significantly after the power supply SP model is added to the time domain simulation of the signal link.The jitter parameter of the signal is the most affected,which is consistent with previous research conclusions.Then,by comparing the simulation results with the measured results,the accuracy of the method is calculated.Based on the measured results,the accuracy of the method is within 2%,which is much higher than the industry standard of 10%.Finally,the new collaborative simulation method studied in this paper is applied to practice.A known method is used to optimize a power supply network that is not up to the standard in design,and then this method is used for simulation testing.The expected results are obtained,and its application value in practical engineering is demonstrated.Because the collaborative simulation method studied in this paper introduces power network into time domain simulation,which greatly improves the time domain simulation.Aiming at this problem of simulation efficiency,a method based on Python data processing to optimize the efficiency of long-link S parameter extraction is proposed.This method optimizes the efficiency of the electromagnetic field simulation process based on the properties of different types of S parameters,and saves the time and cost of the overall simulation.
