At present,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and high-speed network technology,the robot industry is growing rapidly,and the commercial intelligent Delivery robot has gradually broken away from the past mystery to all aspects of social life.Robots for delivering meals,picking up express delivery,and so on have to some extent facilitated people’s daily lives,saving users’ pick-up time and labor costs.However,the current problems of intelligent delivery and logistics robots are also quite prominent.Currently,many robots adhere to the principle of functionalism first,and pay little attention to the emotional expression of robot appearance,resulting in most robots still relying mainly on monotonous and indifferent geometric shapes,lacking more profound connotations.At the same time,the types of robots need to be further divided to solve the problem of high efficiency and stability in the transportation of goods in narrow spaces for building cargo distribution.This article is based on the product semantics design methodology and provides optimized solutions to the above problems.Through a series of semantic research methods and practical research,a combination of sensibility and rationality has been adopted to programmatically establish the semantic design positioning of security,affinity,warmth,and flexibility in the appearance of logistics robots.Through various ways of exploring semantic symbols,innovative ideas have been provided for the appearance of intelligent delivery logistics robots.Under the guidance of product semantic design theory and methods,semantic symbols such as "penguin" and "Baymax" were selected and locked as the main semantic sources among numerous semantic symbols.Extracted the warmth and security brought by the thick fat and cute appearance of the "penguin" itself,as well as the affinity characteristics of "Baymax",and summarized them through lines.Integrating it with the appearance of logistics robots to meet users’ emotional and psychological needs for robot appearance,material,and color,making the design of logistics robot shapes more culturally meaningful.At the same time,in terms of functionality,research new transportation methods for logistics robots,determine their own transportation form based on the type of goods,and transport a wider range of goods while meeting the requirements of smaller volumes,making commercial logistics robots in buildings more applicable.At the end of the paper,a combination of theory and practice was adopted,and detailed argumentation was conducted through sketches and model construction.It has a sound theoretical basis and practical value in terms of form,size,and function.The subsequent subdivision and morphological development of future logistics robot types have unique design significance.
