Driven by data intelligence technologies and smart business logic,a new scenario-based business model--full-scene smart service has emerged,that is,focuses on meeting customers’ personalized,impromptu,and polyphyletic needs by reconfiguring resources across organizational and industrial boundaries during the entire customer journey.However,the full-scene smart service has a high degree of integration,collaboration and technology spillover characteristics,and the traditional service or business model theory can not fully explain its unique social and technological characteristics and the inherent logic of value co-creation and capture.Thus,this thesis aims to reveal the constituent elements and mechanism of value co-creation and capture of the complementors in the full-scene smart service model.First,based on the data-driven perspective,this thesis explores the essential characteristics of value co-creation in the full-scene smart service,and reveals the basic elements of its value co-creation mode.We analyzed 171 business reports on the full-scene smart service using the text mining approach using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation.The findings reveal three elements: value proposition,participants,and connection platform.Secondly,based on the business model framework,this thesis constructs a theoretical model of value proposition-complementary ability-firm value,and explores the moderating effect of firm size.Through the analysis of the data of 102 A-share listed companies(2018-2020),it is found that the value proposition is positively correlated with technological innovation ability,cooperation ability and economic value,the technological innovation ability and cooperation ability are respectively promoting economic and social value,and the firm size can positively regulate the relationship between technological innovation ability and economic /social value.This thesis provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for firms to better develop and implement the full-scene smart service strategy,and integrate it into organizational practice to achieve the ultimate goal of improving business value.
