| In the global economic system,innovation development is an important strategic direction.Breakthrough innovation belongs to the low-level category of "innovation",which is characterized by non-linearity,novelty and impact.Scientific and technical papers are the main carriers of scientific and technical achievements,and they are also important data sources of breakthrough and innovative scientific and technical achievements.Discovering breakthrough innovations from academic literature can help us better understand the laws and characteristics of their occurrence and development,and provide a basis for subsequent scientific research and management decisions.At present,most existing studies measure breakthrough innovations from relatively single dimensions such as innovation,novelty and interdisciplinarity,that is,in most cases from the perspective of a specific feature,ignoring the basic feature that knowledge development is a holistic and dynamic development.The intersection and integration of knowledge from different disciplines can create new knowledge and methods,promote the generation and development of innovation,and more easily produce breakthrough innovation.Therefore,this paper integrates interdisciplinarity into the quantitative measurement index of breakthrough innovation and constructs the Ds Index,a breakthrough innovation measurement index from an interdisciplinary perspective,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.To test the validity and scientificity of the new index,research papers published in the field of bioinformatics in 2018 in the Web of Science database were selected as the empirical research objects in this study.Firstly,the key papers were retrieved in the database through the constructed advanced search formula,and the reference dataset doi numbers of the key papers were derived,and the cited literature dataset was retrieved and derived in the cited reference search of the WOS database by virtue of the doi numbers,and then the statistics of the three types of cited literature and the calculation of the relevant indexes were carried out using a specific program.The results after the completion of all relevant data statistics and calculations were imported into an excel file,and the statistical function of spss was used to conduct an in-depth study on the results of breakthrough innovation evaluation of Ds index,D index,Rela_Dz index,and Dz index,and the validity and scientificity of Ds index was proved by comparative analysis.The research results show that the Ds index performs well in terms of statistical correlation with other indices,and presents homogeneity with other indices in a lineage,and at the same time,there are differences with the original indices in measuring breakthrough innovation in an interdisciplinary perspective,which indicates that the Ds index not only continues the advantages of the D index,but also reflects its own superiority. |
