Knowledge flow is an important step and method of knowledge transmission and diffusion, and it is the basic link of knowledge inheritance and knowledge innovation.Because knowledge has the characteristics of openness and permanence, transmission and diffusion, its flow process also has typical rule and characteristics. One of the most important ways for researchers and scholars to learn existing knowledge and to transform and utilize is literature citation. The citation between literature is also one of the important manifestations of knowledge flow. The massive literature citation relationship between the quantity and literature constitutes the citation network. The massive literature citation relationship between a large number of literature constitute the citation network.Citation network provides a platform for knowledge flow, but also reflects the complexity of knowledge flow.At present, the research work on the citation network is mainly to quantitatively analyze the characteristics of the network structure and the rules of literature citation by using statistical comparison, induction and generalization on the basis of constructing the citation network of different academic journals. The above studies on citation networks are mostly traditional first-order network models. That is a first-order citation network with literature as the node and literature reference relationship as the edge. This network can only analyze the limited knowledge flow situation, and it is difficult to capture the correlation relationship between multiple nodes. This network has insufficient ability to accurately represent knowledge flow in a real citation network system. The paper mainly designs and establishes a higher-order citation network model, namely the second-order citation network model. On the basis of a reference relationship,it explores a layer of reference relationship.Since most of the current studies on citation networks focus on first-order citation networks, the analysis of higher-order citation networks is an active attempt.Firstly,on the basis of citation network theory and complex network theory, this paper defines the concept of first-order citation network knowledge flow between literature and journals, and summarizes the characteristics of citation network and knowledge flow as the basis of subsequent research.Secondly, this paper constructs a first-order citation network model based on the Markov hypothesis. Then,This paper constructs a second-order citation network model based on he temporal characteristics of the citation network, based on the complex network theory, and based on the first-order citation network. That is,on the basis of the first-order citation network with the literature as the node and the reference relationship between literature as the first order edge, the second-order citation network is constructed with the reference literature as the intermediate node and the reference relationship between the node and another literature as the second order edge.Thirdly, this paper takes the sociology subject as an example to model the citation network of the subject. This paper calculates the knowledge flow of the first-order citation network and the probability matrix, and summarizes the rules and characteristics of the knowledge flow. Then,on the basis of first-order citation network knowledge flow, the characteristics and laws of second-order citation network knowledge flow are summarized. Then,on the basis of first-order and second-order citation networks, the paper uses information entropy,Lorentz curve, and other methods to further compare the rules and differences of first-order and second-order citation networks in literature citation, stability, knowledge flow intensity between literature, and knowledge flow intensity among different journals. Finally, based on the above research content, the research conclusions are summarized. It is concluded that generally the second order citation network is less uncertain and more orderly than the first order citation network.Under the influence of the knowledge inflow of pre-journals,the overall knowledge flow of the intermediate nodes will be more determined. But because of the actual situation of the different journals have different priorities and the different properties of their knowledge, there will be some special phenomena. Therefore,if the analysis of the citation network is only kept in the first-order citation network, but is not expanded to a higher order,it is likely to lead to a bias in the cognition of knowledge flow. |
