The pre-sale mode is conducive to e-commerce platforms in competitive environment to better lock in potential customers,however,it is difficult to attract more and more critical customers if they only rely on that.Therefore,some platforms allow customers to return goods without any reason in the pre-sale mode,but at the same time,it brings practical problems to the ordering.At present,J Company adopts the pure online operation mode,constructs the online consumption scene of buying vegetables and provides commodities with high unit price.However,it is worried about the high cost of returning goods without defects,so they do not consider the problem of consumers’ returning goods without defects.Therefore,from the perspective of the subsequent development and profit improvement of Company J,this thesis takes pre-sale and flawless return as the research objects,analyzes the impact of flawless return on the order quantity and expected profit level under different modes,and provides suggestions for Company J.First of all,this thesis starts from the actual ordering problems about J Company,analyzes its development status,and constructs the function of consumers’defect free return rate.Then,this thesis builds the ordering model under two mode respectively by using the newspaper model,and brings the actual operation data of Etype goods into the calculation.Finally,Matlab is used for simulation and solution to make a comparative analysis of the order quantity and profitability under two modes,which are affected by the level of defect free return rate.Then,the sensitivity analysis is made.Research shows that considering non-defective returns in the pre-sale model gives consumers the guarantee of "reneging" and attracts consumers to order goods in advance.However,when the defect free return rate of consumers is high,the pre-sale mode can update consumer demand in a timely manner and adjust the order quantity flexibly,which is more advantageous than the normal sales mode.When the defect free return rate of consumers is low,the two modes can give play to their respective advantages,and the ordering strategy of J Company is less affected.
