| From a broad perspective,agriculture refers to five industrial forms including plantation,forestry,animal husbandry,fishery,and sideline industries.The industries involved include upstream planting,breeding,fertilizer,feed,pesticides,agricultural machinery and appliances,etc.,and new varieties in the middle reaches.Research and development,veterinary drugs,protection and breeding of germplasm resources,modern biotechnology with genetic engineering as the core,downstream processing,packaging,storage,cold chain transportation,marketing,etc.At the same time,agriculture is the basic industry of the national economy.Due to its weak and basic characteristics,its development has received long-term attention and support from the government.Healthy and sustainable agricultural development is essential.In response,the country has introduced various fiscal and taxation policies to support the agricultural industry and enhance the market competitiveness of the agricultural industry and the attractiveness of the agricultural industry.The No.1 document of the Central Committee in 2020 emphasizes that stabilizing grain production,further improving agricultural subsidy policies,strengthening the construction of modern agricultural facilities,and expanding agricultural investment,which fully demonstrate the central government’s emphasis on agricultural production and development.However,China has a vast territory,and the agricultural development status of each province is different.Therefore,it is necessary to propose corresponding policies for the agricultural development of each province.Guangdong Province is China’s largest economic province.It also has a long cultural and historical heritage in agricultural production,coupled with population consumption power,strong import and export trade,proximity to Hong Kong and Macau,hard-working and innovative Guangdong people,climate and The advantages of the geographical environment,therefore,the agricultural development and agricultural listed companies in Guangdong Province have a leading level in the country,and they are also more representative.At present,it is not known whether the government’s fiscal and tax incentives have effectively improved the competitiveness and innovation of agricultural enterprises.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influence of government fiscal and tax incentives on the operation performance of Guangdong agricultural enterprises.It has important practical and theoretical significance.In this paper,19 agricultural listed enterprises in Guangdong province are selected as research samples.Firstly,the definition of agricultural listed companies,fiscal subsidies and tax incentives and their research significance are emphasized.Secondly,the research object of this paper is selected according to the concept,and the development status and financial status of the sample are introduced.Then,descriptive statistics of tax preferences and financial subsidies of these 19 listed agricultural enterprises are made.Factor analysis and regression analysis are used to empirically analyze the operating performance of agricultural listed enterprises in Guangdong Province.Finally,according to the results,it is concluded that tax incentive policies can improve the profitability of enterprises to a certain extent,and have a positive and significant effect on the improvement of comprehensive performance of enterprises.Therefore,based on the empirical results,this paper puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions for agricultural listed enterprises to make use of fiscal and tax preferential policies to develop faster from the perspective of enterprises,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for improving fiscal and tax policies from the perspective of the government. |
