The new generation of employees has flooded into the workplace and is gradually becoming an important part of the employment group.They have grown up along with technological updates and rapid economic development.They have characteristics that are different from employees of previous generations.The growth environment with more abundant resources also determines that they have higher expectations for the work they are engaged in.This reality means that some traditional management thinking and methods of enterprise managers need to be updated and transformed in time to adapt to the management of the new generation of employees.As an important measure of individual work of employees and an important influencing factor of the sustainable development of the organization,employee engagement has always been a key theme for managers.How to correctly grasp the psychology of the new generation of employees,deepen their recognition of the organization and increase their professionalism has naturally become a problem that enterprises need to pay attention to.Workplace fun,as an effective strategy that can meet the needs of the new generation of employees,has become a hot topic in related research fields.However,there is still a lack of research on the specific mechanism between workplace fun and new generation employee engagement.Based on the above background,this article takes the new generation of employees as the research object.After combing through the previous literature,the concept definition and dimension division of workplace fun,organizational identity and new generation employee engagement are carried out,and mature scales are selected and collected in the form of questionnaires.526 valid sample data were collected,and relationship hypotheses were proposed on the basis of resource conservation theory,social exchange theory and social identity theory.The hypothesis test results showed that:(1)The four dimensions of workplace fun positively affect the engagement of the new generation of employees(2)The four dimensions of workplace fun positively affect organizational identity;(3)Organizational identity positively affects the engagement of the new generation of employees;(4)The four dimensions of organizational identity fun in the workplace and the new generation of employee engagement Between plays an intermediary role.In terms of theory,this thesis constructs and validates the structural equation model of workplace fun,organizational identity,and new generation employee engagement.It verifies the positive impact of workplace pleasure on new generation employee engagement and the mediating role of organizational identity,revealing the work The specific path that the fun of place affects the engagement of the new generation of employees has expanded the research content of the fun and engagement of the workplace.In terms of practice,this article summarizes the corresponding enlightenment from the individual level of the new generation of employees and the overall level of the company on the basis of interpreting the empirical results,so as to help the company and the new generation of employees realize the importance of workplace fun.
