With the continuous development of the domestic economy,market segmentation has led to extremely fierce competition,and commercial banks are also seeking changes,constantly carrying out reforms and innovations,adjusting strategic goals,and optimizing and adjusting their own management mechanisms to cope with different situations and environments.As the core of bank management,the scientific business performance appraisal system plays the role of the "baton" in the transmission of strategic goals.Based on the research theory and practical experience of performance appraisal management of commercial banks at home and abroad,this paper investigates and analyzes the performance appraisal system of J Bank N Branch through interviews and questionnaires.There are certain defects in the performance appraisal system,mainly including the lack of clear and stable strategic goals,the lack of performance appraisal indicators focusing on the core focus,the unreasonable appraisal process,and the emphasis on results and less on the process.By exploring the causes of the problems,there are mainly problems such as failure to reasonably coordinate short-term and long-term development,failure to widely solicit opinions from all parties in the design of performance appraisal,and insufficient attention from the management.On the basis of analyzing the problems and causes,the optimization scheme is designed for the outlet performance appraisal system,the key performance indicator method is used to screen the outlet performance assessment indicators,the analytic hierarchy process is used to re-determine the weight of the indicators,and the scoring rules are optimized.Finally,implementation suggestions and safeguard measures are put forward for the optimization plan of the outlet performance appraisal system to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimization plan.The safeguard measures mainly include six aspects,namely,cultural safeguard system safeguard,result application safeguard,system construction safeguard,high-level organization safeguard and post-assessment safeguard.This paper has certain theoretical significance and practical value for promoting the optimization of the performance appraisal system of the N branch of J Bank and promoting the high-quality development of the bank.
