| Scientific and technological innovation is a key force driving the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and promoting high-quality economic development in the new era.At present,with the arrival of a new round of scientific and industrial revolution with big data,Internet of Things and artificial intelligence as the core,the digital economy has been fully accelerated.In this context,it is an inevitable choice for China to seize the strategic opportunities of the new round of scientific and technological revolution,enhance the capability of independent innovation,enter the forefront of international scientific and technological innovation,promote the upgrading of the industrial base,enhance the competitiveness and modernization level of the industrial chain and establish a new development pattern for the 14th Five-Year Plan period.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the influence of scientific and technological innovation on the upgrading of industrial structure and the moderating effect of digital economy development in the process,so as to promote the systematic improvement of scientific and technological innovation level and further empower the upgrading of industrial structure.In order to better realize the improvement of scientific and technological innovation level under the development of digital economy and promote the upgrading of industrial structure to a greater extent,this paper adopts the method of combining theoretical analysis and empirical analysis based on the support of relevant theories of scientific and technological innovation,industrial structure upgrading and digital economy.From the theoretical level,this paper analyzes the main effect mechanism of scientific and technological innovation on industrial structure upgrading,including direct effect and space effect.On the basis of the influence mechanism of the main effect,the moderating effect mechanism of digital economy in the process of technological innovation affecting industrial structure upgrading is further analyzed.At the empirical level,based on panel data of 30 provincial-level administrative regions in China from 2011 to 2019(except Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan).Firstly,industrial structure upgrading and global principal component analysis are used to measure the technological innovation and digital economy development level.Second,build the benchmark model,spatial Durbin(SDM)model of science and technology innovation the main effect that affects the upgrading of industrial structure,and establish the moderating model,based on the digital economy level of development to build spatial weight matrix adjustment effect to make test of the digital economy,in the end,according to the different stages of technological innovation,based on the heterogeneity of science and technology innovation Angle,Scientific and technological innovation is divided into three aspects: R&D input,R&D output and transformation of innovation results,to further verify the difference in the impact of heterogeneity of scientific and technological innovation on industrial structure upgrading,and the difference in the impact of digital economy in this process.The conclusions are as follows: First,scientific and technological innovation plays a significant role in promoting industrial structure upgrading,and the spatial spillover effect of industrial structure upgrading is significant.Scientific and technological innovation has a significant positive spatial spillover effect on industrial structure upgrading.Second,digital economy not only plays a positive moderating role in the direct effect of technological innovation on industrial structure upgrading,but also plays a significant enhancing role in the spatial effect.Thirdly,in the heterogeneity test,different types of scientific and technological innovation have different impacts on the upgrading of industrial structure,and the degree of impact descending from innovation R&D output to innovation R&D input to innovation achievement transformation.In the spatial effect,only the indirect effect and the total effect of innovation R&D output are significant,while the spatial effect of innovation achievement transformation is not significant.In the moderating effect,the descending order is innovation R&D input > innovation achievement transformation.> innovation R&D output.Therefore,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:systematically improve the overall level of scientific and technological innovation,promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial structure upgrading;fully release the spatial effect of scientific and technological innovation,and build a pattern of high-quality regional economic development;strengthen top-level design and overall layout for the development of the digital economy,and enhance capabilities and wisdom in upgrading the industrial structure. |
