With the advancement of the third commercial auto insurance clause rates reform.the auto insurance market premium size has experienced negative growth and entered a stage of industry losses,so that,insurance companies have stepped up efforts to transform and develop non-auto insurance products.With the advancement of the IT technologies such as the Internet,Big Data and Artificial Intelligence,insurance companies made rapid development in non-auto insurance process,standardization,systematization,automation,online and intelligence,and a series of innovative non-auto insurance products adapted to new scenarios have emerged.As there are many types of non-auto insurance products and there are great differences among products,it is difficult to form an unified and standardized processing mode.Therefore,for a long time,the management of non-auto insurance claims has been extensive and low in refinement.Insurance companies generally have problems such as lack of non-auto insurance claim team,low degree of claim standardization and systematization,and insufficient capacity to undertake claims of innovative products.The non-auto insurance claims process is not smooth,and can hardly support support the rapid growth of non-auto insurance premiums,which needs to be optimized and improved urgently.Based on the "Process Reengineering Theory" of William J.Kettinger’s six-stage model,this thesis conducts a comprehensive and in-depth analysis about Insurance Company A including its internal and external environment,non-auto insurance claims team construction,insurance claims system construction,innovative products claims undertake and claim settlement online.From the six stages of "design idea,project initiation,analysis and diagnosis,process design,process reconstruction,monitoring and evaluation",this thesis introduces in detail how Insurance Company A takes a series of process reengineering measures around problems,including establishing innovative products claims acceptance process,establishing an online claim settlement model,optimizing the construction of claim settlement team,reconstruction of second generation claims system,and establish analysis and monitoring system,etc.Finally,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the outcomes and problems Insurance Company A encountered in the process of reengineering,and provides suggestions for further optimization and improvement.
