Input And Output Analysis Of Transportation Industry In Fujian Province

Transportation industry is a basic,leading and strategic industry in the national economy and an important service industry.In recent years,with the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization,the economic transformation and upgrading in the new era have put forward higher requirements for the transportation industry to connect the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain and integrate the production end and the consumption end.Domestic and foreign experts and scholars have conducted diversified studies on the transportation industry based on different research perspectives and backgrounds.There are many studies on the transportation industry from the perspective of input and output,but there are some problems such as rough department classification,insufficient coherence in time dimension,and superficial analysis conclusions.Fujian province is located in the southeast coast of China,facing Taiwan’s treasure island across the sea.It is the core area of China’s 21 st century maritime silk road,with strong geographical advantages.This paper,by using input-output technique from the perspective of multiple transportation development in Fujian province to analyze dynamic evolution process,comprehensive mastery of the development of transportation industry in Fujian province,from two aspects of supply and demand to promote transportation influence on regional economic development,to promote the healthy development of the transportation industry in Fujian province to provide policy to help.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research status of domestic and foreign experts and scholars on the transportation industry and the relevant theoretical basis.Secondly,the definition and classification standards of the transportation industry by the national transportation department were sorted out,and the input-output sequence table of the transportation industry in 39 departments of Fujian province from 2002 to 2017 was compiled based on the input-output table of each year in Fujian province.In this paper,the author analyzes the dynamic evolution of the input-output characteristics of the transportation industry in Fujian province by using the input-output sequence table,including the analysis of the quantitative dependency,the analysis of the distribution and use,the analysis of the type and nature of the industry,the analysis of the industrial correlation effect and the analysis of the contribution to the national economy.Thirdly,the paper analyzes the driving effect of Fujian transportation industry on regional economic growth from two perspectives of demand driving and supply driving.Finally,the paper summarizes the results of empirical analysis,reveals the problems in the development of transportation industry in Fujian province,and puts forward corresponding policy Suggestions.The empirical analysis shows that the direct economic interdependence between the transportation industry and the tertiary industry in Fujian province is closer.The transportation industry has a strong diffusion effect on the upstream and downstream industries.The economic driving capacity of transportation industry is gradually enhanced;The radiation influence capacity of transportation industry needs to be improved.The indirect contribution of transportation to national economy is remarkable;From the perspective of demand pull,the final consumption and capital formation demand of the transportation industry increase the pulling capacity of the initial input.From the point of view of supply driving,the driving effect of labor remuneration on final demand of transportation industry is obviously enhanced.Therefore,it is suggested that Fujian province should deepen the supply-side structural reform and enhance the radiation influence capacity of the transportation industry.We will increase investment in infrastructure and improve the driving capacity of the transportation industry.Incorporate the “the Belt and Road Initiative” construction to release the export demand of the transportation industry;improve the transportation conditions in remote areas,tap the potential of the transportation industry demand;enhance the transportation technology innovation ability,and promote the transportation industry intelligent transformation and other policy recommendations.
