At present,China’s economy has entered a new normal period,and the world is also experiencing a period of rapid development led by the digital economy.As a highly internationally competitive household appliance manufacturing industry in my country’s manufacturing industry,this change has also brought them huge challenges.As a member of the industry,S company should keep pace with the development of the times and formulate the correct direction of enterprise development if it wants to keep moving forward in the fierce industry competition and huge market challenges and consolidate its position in the industry.However,the existing financial performance evaluation management system of S company is relatively backward and can no longer meet the needs of the long-term development of the enterprise.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a new financial performance evaluation system for S company to adapt to the development of the new era.When evaluating the financial performance of S Company,this paper first describes the relevant research background and significance,and summarizes the research of domestic and foreign scholars on EVA from multiple perspectives,such as the correlation between EVA and enterprise value,the application of EVA financial performance,and the effectiveness of EVA application.Secondly,it expounds the relevant theories of financial performance evaluation and the basic principles of EVA in detail,and compares and analyzes the mainstream financial performance evaluation methods.Thirdly,it discusses the current situation of S company’s performance evaluation,and analyzes the necessity of S company’s introduction of EVA.Next,based on the perspective of EVA,an evaluation index system is constructed from the four aspects of profitability,solvency,operating ability,and development ability,and the weight is confirmed by the analytic hierarchy process,and the score is calculated by the efficacy coefficient method,so as to establish an EVA-based financial system.performance evaluation system.Then,according to the constructed system,the actual evaluation and application of S company and related enterprises in the same industry are carried out,and the corresponding score results are obtained.Finally,according to the results,the financial performance of S company is comprehensively evaluated,and the specific performance of S company in profit,debt repayment,operation and development in the past five years is deeply analyzed,as well as its overall performance compared with other companies in the same industry.And give targeted suggestions on the problems found in the financial performance evaluation.
