| With the global emphasis on the ecological environment, green development has become the consensus of human beings in exploring the sustainable development of ecological environmental protection after the concepts of low-carbon economy, circular economy and green economy, with the purpose of achieving the coordination of economic development and the natural environment. The watershed is the main natural space of symbiosis between man and nature, and it is also an important bearing area for population and economy. Its ecological environment governance plays a decisive role in the high-quality development of the country and the region, and the Pearl River-West River,as an important ecological barrier of the country,is related to the long-term development of the country and the region. In 2014,the planning period of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt Development Plan approved by the state is 2014-2020,and in 2019,the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area also proposes to "build an important economic support belt with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as the leader and the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt as the abdominal belt to drive the development of central and southwestern regions and radiate Southeast Asia and South Asia".At this time node and background,it is of certain theoretical and practical significance to discuss the green development level, regional differences and spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt.On the basis of a comprehensive study of the current green development indicator system in China, guided by theories of ecological economics and sustainable development, based on the "Green Development Index System" promulgated by the State Council, and combined with the series of books "China Green Development Index Report" published by Beijing Normal University and the indicators in the "Green Road-Green Report on China’s Economic Development" issued by Renmin University of China, this paper constructs the green development indicator system of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt. The preliminary index system uses the principles of R-type system clustering and information maximization for index screening, and uses stata software to objectively empower the indicators to obtain the green development scores of 11 cities in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt from 2008 to 2019 by using the panel data entropy method of stata software, and then draws a spatio-temporal distribution map based on the green development scores of Geo Da and Arcgis software, and uses the Moran index to measure spatial correlation and spatial aggregation and analyze the measurement results. Finally, according to the conclusions obtained, combined with the current situation of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt, the proposal to promote the green development of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt is proposed, and further research is prospectedThe main conclusions of this paper are:(1)In terms of the level of green development:the level of the green development index of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt in the period of 2008-2019 showed an overall upward trend, and the overall development level of green development was better.(2)Regional differences: The green development of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt is uneven in regional distribution, and the regional differences are large.Specifically, the green development level of Nanning,Guangzhou,Foshan and Liuzhou is high, and the green development level of Baise,Laibin,Chongzuo and Guigang has always been at a low level, and the difference between Guangzhou and other regions in the score of green development indicators is more obvious.(3)Temporal and spatial evolution: the global average spatial correlation of the green development of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt is significant, mainly manifested as a positive spatial correlation, while in the local spatial aggregation,Nanning City presents high-low aggregation,Guangzhou City presents high-high aggregation,Wuzhou presents low-low aggregation in 2008-2009,Foshan presents high-high aggregation in 2018-2019,indicating that the spatial difference between Nanning and its surrounding areas is large, and Guangzhou’s driving effect on the surrounding areas is strong. It also shows that the two core cities of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt have certain differences in the radiation driving effect of green development in the surrounding areas. |
