Manufacturing industry has always been the pillar of the national economy.In order to maintain the sustainable and effective growth of China’s economy,it has become an inevitable choice to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.At present,under the impact of the Internet economy,the market competition is increasingly fierce,and the personalized needs of customers are obvious.Traditional manufacturing enterprises are actively exploring the road of transformation and upgrading.The "Made in China 2025" issued by The State Council proposes that China’s manufacturing enterprises should accelerate the coordinated development of manufacturing and service,and realize the transformation from production-oriented manufacturing to service-oriented manufacturing.The transformation of manufacturing enterprises to service is conducive to expanding profit space,shaping competitive advantages and enhancing enterprise value.Therefore,"service transformation" has become an important direction for manufacturing enterprises to seek breakthroughs.Midea group as a large electrical home appliances manufacturing enterprises,in response to market changes and adapt to the development of the Internet economy,after the overall listing in 2013,formally entered service transformation are exploring stage,from a single product manufacturers to provide systems integration solutions provider,currently on the way to explore the transformation of service have achieved good results.This paper selects Midea Group as a case enterprise to study the path and effect of its servitization transformation.First of all,it combs the development history,service transformation motivation and three stages of Midea Group.Then,according to the actual situation from four aspects of the in-depth analysis of its service transformation path;Finally,from the perspective of financial indicators and non-financial indicators,the transformation effect of Midea Group is comprehensively analyzed and compared with Gree Electric Appliances.Based on the above analysis,the relevant conclusions and industry,the study found that: the Midea group transition path of service mainly includes extending industrial chain upstream and downstream,shift model,production and sales integration,marketing channels,the integration of internal and external resources four aspects of service overall transformation path is clear,promote the effect of its financial and non-financial results.The effects of servitization transformation are as follows: The servitization transformation of Midea Group creates huge wealth for shareholders,improves the profitability of the enterprise,realizes high-quality growth of the enterprise,and effectively controls the risk of enterprise transformation;In addition,Midea group has achieved good results in market share,brand value,number of patents,customer satisfaction and other aspects,reflecting the "user-centered" service-oriented transformation concept.Midea Group’s servitization transformation path is representative of the industry to a certain extent.Studying the path and effect of its servitization transformation has reference value for the transformation and upgrading of the entire manufacturing industry.
