Since the reform and opening up,my country’s economy has developed rapidly and achieved remarkable results,and the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province has been in the leading position in the country for a long time in the process of development.But at the same time,it should be noted that the excessive exploitation of resources in the past has led to the depletion of resources,and the excessive discharge of pollutants has damaged rivers and atmospheric ecology.Under the circumstance that resource and environmental constraints are gradually tightening,how to not only promote the optimization and upgrading of industries,but also protect the ecological environment and achieve a win-win situation between economic growth and environmental protection is an important issue facing the current manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province.For economic growth,the improvement of total factor productivity is very important,and the improvement of green total factor productivity is the key to realizing the sustainable development of the industry.Green total factor productivity is a reflection of the relationship between the level of industry development and resources and the environment,and its level can intuitively reflect the quality of industry development.In view of this,this paper takes the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province as the research object.From the perspective of the manufacturing industry as a whole and sub-industry types,it measures and analyzes the green total factor productivity level of the industry,and then explores its influencing factors,with a view to providing green total factor productivity.The improvement of factor productivity puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the green development of manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province.This paper selects the relevant data of 26 manufacturing industries in Jiangsu Province from 2011 to 2019,adopts literature analysis method,empirical research method,etc.,and conducts research based on classical theory.First,the measurement methods,practical applications and influencing factors of green total factor productivity are sorted out,and then concepts such as green total factor productivity are defined,and the support of relevant theoretical basis is explored.Secondly,the SBM-GML model is constructed by combining the SBM directional distance function with the productivity measurement method.On the basis of dividing the industry type,the green total factor productivity is measured and decomposed into two contents:green technical efficiency and green technical progress.Then,the overall level and sub-industry level of the manufacturing industry are analyzed.The results show that:during the research period,the overall green total factor productivity growth rate of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province is positive,and green development has achieved certain results;the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province is mainly driven by and constrained by technological progress;the green total factor productivity of various industries Productivity levels are highly heterogeneous.Thirdly,this paper explores the influencing factors of green total factor productivity of manufacturing in Jiangsu Province,and constructs a static model and a dynamic model for empirical research.The results show that: First,the green total factor productivity of heavily polluting industries is positively affected by the average size of the industry and the intensity of R&D investment.Second,the green total factor productivity level of moderately polluting industries is significantly positively affected by the degree of capital deepening,and is also affected by the intensity of R&D investment and the intensity of environmental regulation.The time lag of the impact is obvious;third,the green total factor productivity of lightly polluting industries is significantly and positively affected by the degree of capital deepening,R&D investment and the level of environmental regulation.Finally,combined with the analysis of the full text,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of green total factor productivity in the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province: first,increase the development and utilization of clean energy and control the consumption of traditional energy;second,strengthen R&D investment and promote green technology innovation;third,build a new pattern of opening up,and improve the quality of foreign investment;fourth,pay attention to industry heterogeneity and implement precise policies,including improving the environmental regulation system and promoting the rational allocation of elements. |
