Study On The Development Evaluation Of Wellness Hotel In Hainan

Since the outbreak of COVID-19,the lives of people have been more focused on health maintenance,health and wellness tourism has become the most preferred way of travel.It not only meets people’s pursuit of leisure and entertainment,but also meets the pursuit of people wellness and happiness.As a carrier of health and wellness tourism,wellness hotels are different from traditional hotels,covering health,wellness,medical care,culture,tourism and many other formats.As an emerging economy,there are few researches on wellness hotel at home and abroad.It is of great significant to develop a scale to evaluate the level of the wellness hotel.With its unique health care resources,free trade port,duty-free shopping,international tourism island and other related advantages,Hainan Province will become an important place for the release of international health and wellness tourism consumption.The advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges were analyzed by SWOT analysis method of Hainan Province wellness hotels.Reference the“Demonstration Destination of Health and Wellness Tourism”,“Construction Guide of Health and Wellness Tourism Demonstration Base”,“Specification for Health and Wellness Tourism Service”,“Demonstration City of Tourism and Leisure” and other relevant standards,on the basis of widely adopted on expert opinions,the comprehensive evaluation index of the development of Hainan Province wellness hotels is obtained via an analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Experts were invited to quantify and assign points for various indicators,and a comprehensive evaluation model for Hainan Province wellness hotels was construct.This paper analyzes three Wellness hotels in Hainan Xikang Yunshe Health Resort Hotel,China Life Jiayuan Yijing Health Management Base,and Jigu Nianhua Boao Baolian City Health Resort Base,and applies the development of Wellness hotels in Hainan Province constructed in this paper.The comprehensive evaluation index system is used to evaluate and study the health and wellness conditions of the three hotels,and calculate the comprehensive scores of the three hotels.Finally,it is concluded that Hainan Xikang Yunshe Health Resort Hotel and China Life Jiayuan Yijing Health Management Base belong to the health tourism destinations with high development potential,and Jigu Nianhua Boao Baolian City Health Resort Base belongs to the middle development potential health tourism destination.Finally,it is proposed that health care products and services should be diversified and high-quality products play a leading role,increase publicity efforts,build brand image,improve service quality to enhance satisfaction and loyalty,cultivate professional talent teams,and enrich product types to enhance tourism attraction.materials,increase infrastructure construction,industrial integration,and create a sustainable business model.
