Research On The Impact Of Government Subsidies On The Performance Of New Energy Vehicle Companies

With the increasing demand for cars,the environmental contradiction caused by carbon emission has become more and more prominent.In order to encourage the automobile industry to use cleaner energy as fuel,the Chinese government has continuously introduced government subsidy policies to lead the development of the new energy automobile industry.So far,China has gone through the whole process of government subsidies from intervention to gradual withdrawal,which has had a great impact on the new energy vehicle industry and attracted many automobile manufacturers to carry out industrial transformation and enter the new energy vehicle industry.But the road to new energy vehicle manufacturing supported by government subsidies is not as smooth as expected.Under high government subsidies,many enterprises blindly follow the trend of new energy vehicle production,research and development,and manufacturing in order to obtain subsidies,even at the expense of forging data to defraud the subsidy amount.However,after the government subsidy enters the decline stage,the problem of this industry becomes more prominent.Many enterprises have long formed the habit of relying on the government subsidy for production and operation,ignoring the cultivation of their own competitiveness,making enterprises unable to accept the market environment of perfect competition for a while.Regressive government subsidies are like a veil blown away by the wind,revealing many business problems that were covered by high subsidies.In this paper,beiqi Foton,which entered the new energy vehicle industry early,produced a large number of cars,received a large amount of subsidies,and used subsidies with high efficiency,was taken as the research object to study the impact of government subsidies from promotion to regression stage on the performance of new energy vehicle enterprises.After a brief introduction to the evolution process of government subsidies and the case enterprises,this paper analyzes the impact path and evaluates the performance indicators from three perspectives of the impact of government subsidies on the financial performance,innovation performance and investment performance of enterprises.It summarizes the performance impact of different government subsidy stages on Beiqi Foton.Through the research and analysis of the case,this article combines the theoretical basis of the predecessors and the research results of the actual case,and draws the relevant conclusions about the impact of government subsidies on the performance of new energy automobile companies.(1)During the period of high government subsidies,government subsidies have a superficial role in improving the financial performance of enterprises,but they are more to help them turn losses into profits.After the decline of government subsidies,enterprises lose government support,financial performance decreases,and performance deteriorates.There is a phenomenon that more subsidies become weaker.(2)Government subsidies have a positive impact on the innovation performance of enterprises,and the impact has a certain long-term nature.(3)The amount of government subsidies must match the scale of the enterprise’s development.To a certain extent,excessive government subsidies will increase the probability of enterprises overinvesting.
