Study On The Influence Of The Establishment Of Pilot Free Trade Zone On The Complexity Of Enterprises’ Export Products

Decades since reform and opening up,China’s economy made remarkable achievements,but due to the 2008 financial crisis and the emergence of "inverse"globalization,global economic development is in a state of malaise,coupled with the domestic industrial structure unreasonable,import and export trade imbalance,lack of innovation greatly inhibits the high quality of China’s economic development,therefore,China’s economic structure and development model urgently need reform and transformation.The establishment of China(Shanghai)Pilot Trade Zone in 2013 is a new attempt and exploration,which is a major measure taken by the country to promote reform and opening-up under the new situation.Free trade area is a collection of many policy system,including the trade facilitation and investment facilitation,financial reform,tax incentives,and other aspects,the export products complexity is one measure of this enterprise export quality and technical content,understand the free trade area to set up the complexity of real influence on enterprises to export products has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the Shanghai Free Trade Zone,this paper summarizes the policies of classified free trade zones,sorts out the policies that may be related to the complexity of enterprises’ export products,makes the hypothesis that the establishment of free trade zones has a positive effect on the complexity of enterprises’ export products,and makes use of existing theories and relevant research.It is suggested that its transmission mechanism may be free trade,industrial agglomeration and financing,and ultimately affect the production,export and technological innovation of enterprises.In order to verify the theoretical hypothesis proposed in this paper,based on the data of 1668 Shanghai enterprises from 2010 to 20 1 5,the establishment of the free trade zone was regarded as a "quasi-natural experiment" and the differential difference model was used to conduct an empirical study.The empirical results show that the establishment of free trade area is 1.54%of the complexity of enterprises to export products,and the results by the parallel trend,the placebo,such as robustness test,mechanism test results show that at the same time,the establishment of free trade area of enterprise technology innovation and production and export of were significantly,further verified the results in this paper.To sum up,this paper believes that the free trade zone policy has achieved certain results.In view of how to continue to promote the construction and development of the pilot free trade zone,the paper also puts forward relevant policy suggestions and future prospects.
