Enterprises obtain cash flow and corresponding profits through the purchase of commodities or service by customers.Customers are not only the key stakeholders of the company,but also the "relational resources" for companies to survive and develop,who can help them reduce the pressure of competition from other companies in the market.Therefore,how to effectively develop and keep benign relationship with clients is very important for companies.For this reason,this paper focuses on conducting in-depth research on the characteristics of the clients of the audited enterprises,and explores various factors that affect the existence of audit fees,so as to guide and help accounting firms to determine the audit cost of enterprises.Based on this,the article mainly uses the data of A-share manufacturing companies in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2011 to 2020,and puts the customer,a key stakeholder,into the relevant audit fees of the enterprise.In terms of research content,the panel regression model is adopted to conduct a concrete empirical study on the important influence of account concentration on audit fees and the moderating effect of earnings quality on audit fees in account concentration.According to the final research conclusions,it is obvious that: first of all,under the empirical analysis of a large number of company data,it can be seen that companies with more concentrated customer groups tend to spend less on audit fees,which also reflects that the emergence of large customers is beneficial to the supply chain integration of Chinese enterprises;second,through the comparative study of enterprises with different property rights,it is found that compared with private enterprises,the concentration of key account of state-owned enterprises has a more significant effect on reducing audit fees of accounting firms;third,earnings quality can play a positive moderating role in the relationship between key account concentration and audit fees to a large extent.After conducting multi-aspects robustness tests,the conclusions are still valid.The conclusions obtained in this paper mainly clarify the influencing factors of accounting firms on the audit fees of the audited enterprises,confirm the correlation between account concentration and audit fees and prove that the earnings quality affects the relationship between account concentration and audit fees.By exploring the interplay between the dependence of enterprises on customers,the risks existing in enterprises and the complex process of auditing,it can guide enterprises and academia to uncover the mystery of the supply chain relationship between enterprises and customers from another perspective,provide effective assistance for stable and long-term development.At the same time,it can also give suggestions for the improvement of the audit fee system currently used in our country.
