Research On The Financial Performance Evaluation Of BT Hotels Under The Asset-light Operation Mode

With the continuous development of China’s social economy,people’s material living conditions have generally improved,people are increasingly pursuing spiritual and cultural construction,the tourism industry has also flourished,and the number of hotels has begun to increase,including the entry of foreign hotel companies and the domestic hotel companies.Increasing,the competition in the hotel industry has become more and more fierce,and the competitive environment has forced the hotel to strengthen its management and seek better development.The traditional hotel management business is an asset-heavy business,which often strengthens the investment in fixed assets and service equipment.However,in the process of continuous transformation and upgrading of my country’s industry,asset-light is introduced into the hotel’s operation system.Brand management efficiency,form brand advantages,expand the influence of enterprises,and help enterprises stand out in the fierce market competition.As a representative national hotel brand in China that adopts the asset-light operation model,BT Hotel has a certain representativeness in its research.To this end,this subject discusses the current status of research theoretical achievements in related fields at home and abroad.On the basis of previous research,according to corresponding standards and criteria,samples are selected and an index system is constructed.Starting from the actual operation characteristics of light assets,a comprehensive financial performance analysis is carried out for the target research object-BT hotel.The subject deeply discussed the financial performance level of a group of hotels,selected various financial data from 2016 to 2020,and finally selected 16 financial indicators from the six aspects of solvency,development ability,and Pev PAR indicators combined with the characteristics of the asset-light operation model.Do a full analysis.From the perspective of horizontal data,the subject selected relevant financial data in 2020 to conduct factor analysis,and selected a total of 15 hotel companies with similar operating models to conduct comparative research.Through the combination of horizontal and vertical research mode,it analyzes the performance level of BT hotels under the asset-light mode,finds the problems existing in the asset-light operation mode of BT hotels,and draws suggestions and countermeasures for the problems found.This will help BT Hotels to improve their financial performance and provide a reference for the evaluation of financial performance of companies in the same industry.There is still room for improvement in this topic.The number of samples selected this time is limited,and the relevant data obtained are not complete enough.There is no comprehensive longitudinal analysis of the 15 companies.The continuous optimization of this aspect needs to be carried out in the follow-up research.enriched in the process.Through the research of this topic,I try to provide some reference for the research in related fields,and make a small contribution to the optimization of hotel operation under the light asset operation mode in my country.
