The Mechanism And Empirical Study On The Synergistic Agglomeration Of Manufacturing And Producer Services Affecting The Upgrading Of Industrial Structure

In 2014,China’s economy entered a new normal development stage,which was changing from high-speed growth to medium-high-speed growth.Eliminating outdated production capacity,promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure,and achieving high-quality economic development have become the top priorities.Industrial agglomeration gathers in space through interconnected industries,sharing "labor pool",infrastructure,and advanced production technology,which can provide development impetus for the upgrading of industrial structure.Driven by the wave of technological revolutions such as big data,artificial intelligence,and 5G,the synergistic agglomeration of manufacturing and producer services has become an important development form for optimizing regional industrial layout.are of great significance.Based on externality theory,industrial agglomeration theory,industrial structure upgrading theory and value chain theory,this paper analyzes the mechanism of industrial synergistic agglomeration on industrial structure upgrading through competition effect,spillover effect,and scale economy effect,leading to technological innovation and efficiency progress.conduction path.Therefore,three hypotheses are put forward,namely:the synergistic agglomeration of manufacturing and producer services can promote the optimization and upgrading of the regional industrial structure;the synergistic agglomeration of the two industries has an impact on the up grading of the industrial structure by improving the level of technological innovation;The panel data of 30 provinces and municipalities in my country from 2005 to 2020 is selected to analyze the current situation of the coordinated agglomeration and industrial structure upgrading and development of the two industries in the country and in the eastern,central and western regions.The fixed effect model is used to test the relationship between industrial synergistic agglomeration and industrial structure optimization in China,and the mediation effect model is used to empirically test the transmission path of technological innovation and efficiency progress.The results show that from 2005 to 2020,the synergistic agglomeration of my country’s manufacturing and producer service industries can significantly promote the upgrading of my country’s industrial structure,but there are regional differences.The level of synergistic agglomeration in the eastern region has a significant role in promoting the rationalization and upgrading of the industrial structure,but the industrial synergistic agglomeration in the central and western regions only significantly promotes the upgrading of the industrial structure,and does not play a prominent role in rationalization.At the same time,the research shows that the mediating effect of technological innovation and efficiency improvement in the synergistic agglomeration of the two industries and the optimization of industrial structure is significant.Finally,three policy suggestions are put forward to strengthen the guidance of the government and improve the quality of industrial synergy and agglomeration;to formulate differentiated industrial development policies according to local conditions;to improve the level of human capital and to release the innovation-driven effect.
