| With the advent of the Internet of Things era, internal competition in the communication industry is becoming increasingly fierce.Effective cost control has become the key for major communication operators to stand out in order to sustain their development. From 1G analog cellular networks to the current 5G high-speed and large connection networks,Chinese communication enterprises have made a qualitative leap after several restructurings. The rapid development has brought about an increase in network operating costs, especially in the past four years, the proportion of network operating costs to the overall cost of the company has been increasing year by year. Therefore, how to reduce network operating costs is an important issue that communication enterprises urgently need to solve. The current cost control theory is becoming increasingly perfect, and many scholars at home and abroad have applied cost control theory to various scenarios, such as government agencies, transportation and logistics, manufacturing factories, medical units, and educational institutions, providing reference from both theoretical and practical perspectives.Taking China Mobile H Branch as the research object,by analyzing the network cost provided by the company’s finance department,it was found that H Branch’s network operating costs mainly include tower service fees, network electricity fees, base station rental fees, network maintenance fees, agency maintenance fees, and other expenses, coexisting with budget overruns and uneven progress.By analyzing the internal and external environmental factors affecting network operation costs, this study explores the causes of network cost control problems, and proposes relevant optimization strategies and guarantee measures with the company’s cost control objectives as the core. |
