| As an important component of the national economy,the clothing industry is closely related to people’s lives.In recent years,the raw materials and labor costs of the clothing industry have been increasing while China’s economic development has slowed down,coupled with the impact of e-commerce and trade frictions,resulting in increased competition in China’s clothing industry and continuous compression of profit space.China’s clothing enterprises need to find new development directions,focus on building brands,exploring markets,and transformation is imminent.The asset light operation model leverages more external resources with limited resources to optimize resource allocation,effectively enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprise,and create an international first-class clothing brand with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,the transformation of asset light operation mode has become the key for enterprises to break through the existing difficulties.Company H has developed rapidly in the depressed market environment with its asset-light operation model.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to explore its asset-light operation methods,interpret the results and existing problems brought by asset-light operation,and provide corresponding reference for other enterprises to improve operational management.As an important criterion for evaluating the comprehensive development ability of enterprises,financial level has been continuously concerned by enterprises,academia,and various stakeholders.In order to further study the impact of the asset-light operation model on enterprise development,this article uses the Harvard Analysis Framework System to comprehensively study the problems existing in its financial and development strategies after transformation,providing targeted reference for the transformation of Chinese clothing industry enterprises.This article takes H Company as the case study object.Firstly,it provides a theoretical overview of the relevant concepts and evaluation methods of asset-light and Harvard Analytical Framework,and expounds the basic overview,transformation path,and asset-light operating characteristics of H Company.Secondly,the article uses the Harvard Analysis Framework System to conduct a comprehensive evaluation from four aspects: strategy,accounting,finance,and prospects,to further analyze the impact of asset light transformation on H Company.Propose improvement suggestions based on the identified issues and the company’s transformation path.After comprehensive analysis,it is found that after the implementation of the asset light transformation,although the overall development of Company H is good.However,as development enters a mature stage,issues such as slow profit growth,low inventory turnover,the need to improve scientific research and development capabilities,outsourcing quality risks,and improper brand positioning continue to highlight.In this paper,the emphasis is on reducing costs,accelerating inventory turnover,focusing on innovative research and development,strengthening supply chain management,and focusing on strengthening core brands.It is hoped that the research in this article can enrich the relevant research results of the financial analysis of the asset-light operation model in China’s clothing industry under the Harvard Analysis Framework System,and provide some reference for the clothing enterprises in China that implement the asset-light operation model. |
