Research On 5G Network Quality Evaluation Indicator System For Operators Based On OTT Data

In the 5G era,the amount of operator network data has increased significantly,and user experience requirements have also continued to increase,which has brought opportunities and challenges to operators.As an important method to evaluate network quality,the network quality evaluation system clearly shows the network quality differences of the research objects by quantifying each evaluation index,which also provides important help for operators’ resource construction and comprehensive network quality evaluation.As the basis of the research work in this paper,this paper summarizes the research status of network quality assessment,and believes that the previous network quality assessment methods have problems of low data coverage,high collection cost and low collection efficiency,and the weight of performance indicators is mostly determined based on subjective feelings,with strong subjective shortcomings.Different from traditional research methods,this paper constructs a QoE-KQI-KPI network quality evaluation system based on OTT data from the perspective of user experience,it combines the subjective weighting method with the objective weighting method,and determines the index weight by establishing the comprehensive weighting method of the combination optimization model.It effectively combines subjective prior knowledge and objective index information,and makes up for the result distortion caused by single weighting.The construction process of the system is specifically divided into four parts:data collection,data exploration,data preprocessing,and index weighting.This thesis details the realization path of each part.which is mainly divided into basic data overview,weight data overview and comprehensive score overview.The basic data overview can provide the coverage,perception and delay performance of the three major operators in each city;the weight data overview provides an overview of the trend of the objective weight value of each indicator and an overview of the trend of the subjective and objective weight coefficients of the secondary indicators;the comprehensive score overview is a visual overview of the final results,this thesis takes province-level municipalities as an example to show the comprehensive quality score of a single operator’s cross-city 5G network.Finally,this paper summarizes the research work,research deficiencies,and future prospects,and provides suggestions and inspirations for the research on the operator’s 5G network quality evaluation system.
