Research On The Promoting Effect Of Digital Economy On China’s Economic Green Development

The swift economic growth of China has caused difficulties such as high pollution and high energy consumption.Having attained a level of high-quality economic development,the novel concept of development was born.Green economic development has become the main goal of China’s economic development at the present stage.At present,the development concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" has not been fully implemented,resource and environmental problems have not been properly handled,and the green transformation is faced with many difficulties.The lack of green transformation power for enterprises,the lack of obvious effect of policies influenced by region and economy,and the absence of a new innovation system have put great pressure on China’s green transformation.As a new form of development,digital economy,with its advantages in informatization and digitalization,has provided an inexhaustible driving force for China’s economic development,innovation and resource sharing,and played a key role in boosting China’s economic development.It is of great practical significance to explore the effect of digital economy on the green development of China’s economy.This paper combed the connotation of digital economy and economic green development and promote effect theoretical basis,and investigates the mechanism of the promotion effect of digital economy on economic green development at the theoretical level,considered green innovation as an intermediate variable,explored the influence,put forward the corresponding research hypothesis according to the above analysis,and carried out the index measure evaluation and empirical analysis.To begin,the current state of the green advancement of digital economy and economy was assessed and gauged.The panel data of 30 provinces and cities in China from2011 to 2020 were selected to analyze the measurement and development status of digital economy level and economic green development indicators,and they are divided into four regions: east,east,west and northeast China for comparison.It carried out index measurement and empirical analysis.The benchmark regression model and spatial lag model were created to evaluate the effect of digital economy oneconomic green development on promotion.Finally,through the construction of an intermediary effect model,the specific impact of green innovation as an intermediary variable and the overall spatial spillover effect were analyzed.The research results show that:(1)When assessing and analyzing the indicators of the digital economy and the green economic development,our country presents obvious stepwise decreasing characteristics in the east,the middle,the northeast and the west,and there are great differences in spatial development.(2)Digital economy has a significant promoting effect on economic green development.At the spatial level,the role of digital economy in promoting the green economic development has shown obvious spatial heterogeneity,and the promotion intensity is increasing from west to east and from north to south.(3)Green innovation can directly promote the green development of the economy,and it can also act as an intermediate variable in the process of the digital economy’s effect on the green development of the economy,with some intermediate effects.That is,there are direct effects between digital economy and economic green development,and there are indirect effects of promoting economic green development through green innovation.(4)There is spatial spillover effect of digital economy and economy green development,that is,the development of digital economy can promote the development of digital economy and the degree of green economic green development in adjacent areas.The role of green innovation as an intermediate variable cannot be ignored,and it is the key factor to produce spatial spillover effect.This paper proposes policy recommendations for the green development of China’s economy and its development,based on the analysis above.The government need to speed up the construction of basic digital facilities,pay attention to the construction of the development system of digital economy,promote the green transformation of industry and society,solve the problem of unbalanced development among regions through policy implementation,provide corresponding policy support for China’s digital economy and green innovation,and enable green development.
