Research On The Impact Of Digital Inclusive Finance On The Revitalization Of Rural Industries In Western China

The revitalization of rural industries is an important way to achieve the strategy of rural revitalization.Digital inclusive finance is conducive to reducing information costs,breaking traditional credit constraints and financial exclusion,enhancing the availability of financial resources,and thus promoting industrial development.The western region has a relatively low level of financial development in China,and the four basic attributes that inclusive finance should possess: fairness,universality,accessibility,and rationality determine that it will have a more significant impact on the economic behavior of underdeveloped areas.This paper takes 11 provinces in western China as the research object,uses the method of combining theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,collects provincial panel data in western China from 2011 to 2020,and builds an indicator system to measure the level of rural industry revitalization in western China from three dimensions on the basis of previous scholars’ research.A comparative analysis was conducted on the development of digital inclusive finance and the level of rural industry revitalization in various provinces in western China.The spatial Durbin econometric model was selected through various tests,and the specific impact and spatial effects of digital inclusive finance on the level of rural industry revitalization in western China were explored through empirical analysis.Research has found that overall,there is a positive spatial correlation between the revitalization level of rural industries and the development level of digital inclusive finance in western China from 2011 to 2020.Digital inclusive finance has a positive promoting effect on the revitalization of rural industries in western China.However,for each province in the western region,digital inclusive finance has a significant promoting effect on the revitalization level of rural industries in the province,while it has a certain inhibitory effect on the revitalization level of rural industries in neighboring provinces.In addition,variables such as the dependency ratio of young children,urbanization rate,and financial support have an impact on the level of rural industrial revitalization in the western region.Then,this paper tests the robustness of the empirical results by changing the spatial weight matrix and eliminating special samples.Finally,based on the empirical results,the following suggestions are summarized: developing digital inclusive finance according to local conditions,strengthening the integration of urban and rural development in the western region,emphasizing the attraction of young talents,and strengthening inter provincial exchanges to promote regional coordinated development.
