In 2020,China’s foreign trade and investment ranks the first in the world.Although briefly affected by unstable factors,Chinese enterprises will usher in a greater wave of "going global" in the long term.When Chinese enterprises actively integrate into the international industrial chain and supply chain,they also have to face the problem of cultural differences or even cultural conflicts in different countries.How to deal with cultural differences or even cross-cultural management problems caused by cultural conflicts has become a crucial step to test Chinese enterprises to go global.CK Group has accumulated a lot of experience in "going out",as well as a lot of successful practice accumulation,but with the continuous expansion of the business layout of the enterprise,the project carried out in the overseas market gradually in-depth,in the process of development presented different degrees of social and cultural environment,project technical standards mismatch and other problems,in the final analysis is the problem of enterprise management,To solve these problems effectively,cross-cultural management is needed.This paper takes CK Group’s American subsidiary as the research object.First,it systematically understands the relevant information of the current company’s operation and management in the United States and the status quo of cross-cultural management;In combination with the current theoretical literature related to cross-cultural management research,we summarized the specific problems of cultural conflict caused by employees from different cultural backgrounds,interviewed and surveyed some employees and management in China and the United States,collected information and data on cross-cultural management,obtained first-hand information,proposed problems in cross-cultural management based on the results,and summarized the root causes of the problems,Put forward the improvement plan,and in order to better implement the plan,finally put forward the safeguard measures.It is also hoped that while proposing solutions and countermeasures to CK Group’s American subsidiary to improve its cross-cultural management ability and improve the overall management efficiency of the company,it will also put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for other enterprises to "go global" and face the management of multicultural teams when conducting transnational business,so as to help Chinese enterprises better realize transnational operation and management. |
