| In May,2022,the National Development and Reform Commission issued the‘14th Five-Year Plan for Bioeconomic Development’,which was the first five-year plan for bioeconomy in China.The issuance of this plan further emphasizes the importance of bioeconomy in our national economic and social development.As a subdivision of bio-pharmaceutical industry,vaccine industry has become an important part in bioeconomy.In the case of favorable national policies,it is expected that the vaccine industry will continue to maintain its stable development trend in the future.Hexin Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.is a biological High-tech company,mainly engaged in the business of the research and development,production and marketing for vaccines of human use.With the continuous improvement of the development level in the industry,and the number of newborns declining year by year,the competitive environment surrounding Hexin Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.will become much greater.In this case,where is her development space,and how to develop,are just the problems to be solved in this paper.There are four parts in this paper.In the first part,it mainly describes the research background and significance of this topic,introduces the research methods and content of this paper,and clarifies the theoretical basis and literature review used in this paper.In the second part,it focuses on the development status of Hexin and its problems faced which are mainly three problems: Less diversified products,less R&D pipeline;Lack of talents,especially senior professionals;Company planning focuses on short-term actions.After that,the reasons for the existing problems are analyzed.In the third part,it completely analyzes the internal and external environment of the company,using PEST analysis method to analyze its macro environment and Porter’s Five Forces Framework to analyze its industrial environment,and then analyzes the internal environment of the company.After that,SWOT matrix is applied to determine final four strategic plans which are SO,WO,ST and WT strategies.In the fourth part,it adopts QSPM matrix to determine the strategy which is suitable for Hexin is ST strategy—Diversification strategies,which indicates that the company should pay attention to the development of R & D system and multi-pipeline planning for R&D,recruiting professionals.Furthermore,it gives that the company can adopt the concentric diversification and conglomeration diversification strategy,which will be followed in a two-step approach to achieve the strategic goal.Taking the strategic plan as the direction of the company,a series of implementation plans and implementation supporting measures are formulated.The implementation plans are conducted in three phases that are short-term,medium-term and long-term;and the implementation supporting measures determine organizational measures,institutional measures,human resource measures and financial measures to ensure that the strategy can be effectively implemented.In this paper,I hope that the research on the development strategy for Hexin Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.can help explore a strategic plan suitable for the development of the company,which will provide a certain of reference for the decision makers and managers of the company,so that the company can have sustainable development;Meanwhile,I also hope that this study can provide a certain guiding for the development of other similar companies in this industry. |
