Research On The Impact Of IFDI Quality Characteristics On The High-Quality Economic Development Of The Yangtze River Delta

In the course of our country’s more than 40 years of reform and opening up,the national economy has also grown steadily.Although it has been affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic,our country is still the only country in the world with positive economic growth.As the main method of international capital flow,foreign capital as a supplement to domestic capital,and it is also the engine of a country’s economic growth.Foreign capital has become an important part of my country’s economy and more and more scholars believe that foreign capital plays a pivotal role in the process of promoting my country’s economic development.Foreign capital has become an important part of my country’s economy and more and more scholars believe that foreign capital plays an important role in the process of promoting my country’s economic development.In 2001,the total GDP of the Yangtze River Delta was only 2.5 trillion yuan.The total GDP in 2021 will exceed 10 times the total GDP in 2001.In 2021,the GDP of the Yangtze River Delta will account for about 24.13% of the national GDP.The amount accounts for 48.8% of the national total.It can be seen that the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta economy is of great significance to China’s high-quality development,and whether the Yangtze River Delta can utilize foreign capital to achieve high-quality development is directly related to the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta.In recent years,the amount of foreign investment in my country has increased,but the quality of foreign investment is uneven.In order to optimize the structure of my country ’ s foreign investment,we must focus on the combination of the introduction of capital and the introduction of technology to contribute to the high-quality development of my country’s economy.Based on the current economic development situation,this paper selects innovative development,open development,coordinated development,shared development,and green development as the factors to determine the level of high-quality economic development.The entropy method is used to determine the high-quality economic development level of various regions in the Yangtze River Delta.Secondly,from the three perspectives of the quantitative characteristics of IFDI,the proportion of foreign investment in the fixed asset investment of the whole society,and the basic status of IFDI’s industrial distribution,the basic characteristics of the use of foreign capital in 3 provinces and 1 city in the Yangtze River Delta in the past 10 years are analyzed.Then,starting from heterogeneous IFDI,two indicators of single foreign investment scale and foreign investment performance index are selected to determine the quality characteristics of IFDI in the Yangtze River Delta.According to the panel data of 26 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Delta from2005 to 2019,it is verified whether the quality of IFDI is affected.High-quality economic development,and discussed whether the improvement of IFDI quality in the Yangtze River Delta can promote the high-quality economic development of the region.According to the empirical results,the improvement of IFDI quality can promote the high-quality economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region.The larger the scale of IFDI’s single investment,the higher the foreign investment performance index,which will promote the high-quality economic growth of the Yangtze River Delta region.The 26prefecture-level cities are divided by province,and the impact of the selected two quality characteristic indicators on the level of high-quality economic development has regional differences: only the foreign investment performance index in measuring IFDI quality indicators can significantly promote the high-quality economic development of Jiangsu Province Only the scale of IFDI’s single investment has a significant boost to Anhui Province.Both indicators of IFDI quality characteristics can have a significant positive effect on the high-quality development of Zhejiang’s economy.Among them,the scale of IFDI’s single investment has a significant impact on the high-quality development of the economy.The influence coefficient is 2.22,and the influence coefficient of foreign investment performance index variables is 2.48.Therefore,to promote the high-quality economic development of the Yangtze River Delta,high-quality foreign investment must be introduced,and the introduction of foreign capital must be transformed from "quantity" to "quality" as soon as possible.
