Study On Profit Quality Of Listed Food Companies In Henan Province

The food industry concerns the health and safety of 1.4 billion Chinese people and the future of our country.The report of the Party’s 20 th National Congress will incorporate food safety into the national security system,adhere to the development strategy of food safety,so that people can eat at ease.Henan Province,as a major agricultural development province,is known as the "Kitchen of China" for its rapid development of food industry relying on its superior geographical location and better agricultural resources.In recent years,many food industrial parks have been developed in Henan Province,forming the agglomeration phenomenon of food industry,solving the employment problem of surplus labor force and boosting the GDP growth of Henan Province.Correctly evaluating and improving the earnings quality of listed food companies in Henan Province can not only protect the rights and interests of investors and creditors,but also promote the development of listed food companies in Henan Province.Therefore,it is particularly important to pay attention to the earnings quality of listed food companies in Henan Province.Based on stakeholder theory and sustainable development theory,this paper studies the profit quality of listed companies in the food industry in Henan Province.First of all,it introduces the status quo of enterprise development,and makes a longitudinal comparative analysis from four aspects of profit quality,cash,stability and growth.Secondly,a comprehensive profit quality evaluation system is constructed,and Sichuan,Jiangsu,Hebei and Heilongjiang provinces,which are also large agricultural provinces,are selected for horizontal comparison.According to the comprehensive evaluation system of profit quality established in this paper,the ranking of Henan Province in the same industry is calculated and sorted out.Thirdly,through a comprehensive vertical and horizontal analysis,it is found that the existing problems of food companies in the province,such as unbalanced profit level,declining cash acquisition ability and unstable profit growth ability,are found.Finally,through deeper analysis,it is found that the causes of these problems are divided into external and internal two aspects.The external reasons are mainly the impact of social risks on the food industry and the fierce competition at home and abroad.The internal reasons are mainly the product structure of food companies is single,lack of innovation,and food companies are subject to cost constraints.Therefore,in order to improve the profit quality of listed food companies in Henan Province,this paper proposes to pay attention to cost control and improve the profit level of enterprises.Improve the business model,enhance the enterprise cash ability;Focus on the main business,maintain the stability of corporate profit;Attach importance to research and development innovation,improve the profitability of the enterprise growth and other relevant suggestions.In order to bring inspiration to the food industry related enterprises,provide some ideas for the improvement of the quality of profit in the future,but also provide certain investment reference for investors.
