Based on the CSR data of listed companies of Hexun.com and the matching data between listed companies and customs during 2010-2015,this paper studies the impact of CSR on the quality of export products from the perspective of CSR fulfillment. This paper expounds the fundamental influence of CSR on the quality of export products from both theoretical and empirical aspects. The benchmark regression results show that after the fixed effect is controlled and the enterprise-level variables affecting the quality of export products are added, the behavior of fulfilling social responsibility will have a significant negative impact on the quality of export products. In addition, when the CSR of enterprises to various stakeholders is subdivided, there is also a significant negative impact between them.At the same time, the heterogeneity study shows that CSR has a significant heterogeneity effect between state-owned enterprises and enterprises located in eastern China. For state-owned enterprises and the enterprises located in the central and western regions, the inhibition effect of CSR on the quality of export products will be strengthened. In addition, this study carried out a regulatory effect study.Moderating variable financing constraints weaken the negative impact of CSR on export product quality. The moderating variable human capital quality weakens the negative relationship between CSR and export product quality. Finally, this paper also uses a variety of ways to conduct robustness research. All in all,at the present stage, enterprises’ CSR has a negative impact on the quality of their export products, which suggests that enterprises should not overundertake social responsibility.
