| The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the general requirements for rural revitalization,which include "prosperous industries,livable ecology,civilized rural culture,effective governance,and prosperous living".The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China further proposed"comprehensive promotion of rural construction",emphasizing "building livable,livable,and beautiful villages".Improving the living environment in rural areas and building beautiful villages is an important task in implementing the rural revitalization strategy,which is related to the fundamental well-being of the majority of villagers and the harmony of rural social civilization.Yuechi County is a microcosm of the construction of beautiful rural areas in the Sichuan Chongqing region.This article establishes an evaluation index system to comprehensively evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of Yuechi County’s beautiful rural construction,explore existing problems,propose development strategies for beautiful rural construction,and reflect on the development ideas of Yuechi County’s rural areas,in order to assist in the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.The construction of beautiful rural areas is a key task and also a difficult problem in rural revitalization.Based on this background,this article conducts research on the construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County through on-site research and empirical analysis.Firstly,an overall analysis was conducted on the practical situation of the construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County.Currently,the construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County has a good foundation,with strong support from the government in terms of policies and funds.At the same time,specific measures have been taken to promote the construction of beautiful rural areas,achieving certain results and progress.A number of demonstration villages have emerged and representative construction models have been explored.Secondly,establish an evaluation index system for the construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County.This article uses Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),referring to the national standards for the evaluation system of beautiful rural construction and the goal system of the Ministry of Agriculture’s "Beautiful Rural" creation,combined with the goals and requirements of ecological and livable rural construction in Sichuan Province and the actual situation of Yuechi County,selects 16 indicators from four levels:village construction,economic development,ecological environment,and rural civilization,and constructs the evaluation index system of beautiful rural construction in Yuechi County.By conducting onsite visits and research in rural areas of Yuechi County,we understand the actual situation of construction,compare scoring standards to score various indicators,and comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness of Yuechi County’s beautiful rural construction.Finally,we propose improvement strategies for Yuechi County’s beautiful rural construction.Research results:The comprehensive evaluation score for the construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County is 76 points,indicating that the current construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County has basically met the standards,transitioning from the initial stage to the rapid development stage.At the same time,it was found that there are problems in the construction of beautiful rural areas in Yuechi County,such as a lack of distinctive features in village construction,low degree of industrial integration,poor ecological environment governance effect,lagging rural civilization construction,and overall development imbalance.Based on the evaluation results and existing problems,targeted suggestions are proposed:to achieve "village beauty,industry beauty,environment beauty,and fashion beauty" by formulating scientific plans,promoting industrial integration and development,promoting ecological environment construction,and filling the gaps in spiritual civilization,and to assist in the construction of beautiful villages in Yuechi County. |
