The Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy On High Quality Economic Development

In the context of dual-cycle development and post-epidemic era,digital economy has become a new driving force for high quality economic development of China’s economy.This paper discusses the effect and influencing mechanism of digital economy driving high quality development of Chinese economy.In theory,the digital economy can promote high quality economic development by promoting technological innovation,upgrading consumption and improving the efficiency of resource allocation.Empirically,this paper uses entropy weight method to calculate the digital economy development level and high quality economic development level of 216 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2018.Based on this analysis,the main conclusions are as follows: The measurement results show that the development of digital economy and the level of high quality economic development in China are generally on the rise,and there are significant differences at the regional and urban levels.Empirical studies show that the development of digital economy has a significant positive impact on the high quality economic development of China’s economy,which is still valid after a number of robustness tests;Heterogeneity analysis shows that the digital economy development to the ascension of each region’s economic development level of high quality has positive impact,and the openness of the digital economy to economic development of high quality,innovative,sustainable and participatory has significant role in promoting,embodies the digital economy in the economy in the development of high quality green and share role;The analysis of intermediate channels shows that technological innovation and consumption upgrading are the mechanism of digital economy promoting high quality economic development,but resource allocation efficiency is not the intermediate channel of digital economy promoting high quality economic development.This paper holds that we should further promote the development of digital economy,get through the intermediate channels of high quality economic development,and jointly promote high quality economic development in many aspects.
