| In recent years,the development of China’s rural economy has made great achievements and farmers’ incomes have been increasing,but the income gap between urban and rural residents is also widening,so it is particularly important to ensure the continuous and stable growth of farmers’ incomes.The development of digital economy and information technology is accelerating the digital transformation of agriculture.China attaches great importance to the development of digital agriculture,and clearly proposes to vigorously develop the rural digital economy,promote the development of digital agriculture,and enhance and drive the development of agricultural and rural modernisation.The development of digital agriculture can not only effectively promote the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,but also tap the endogenous power of the rural economy,accelerate the completion of the transformation of the agricultural industrial structure,and achieve better results in consolidating the fight against poverty and increasing farmers’ income.Based on this,this thesis takes Anhui Province as the research object and explores the impact of the development of digital agriculture on farmers’ income.Firstly,through summarising the relevant literature and theories on digital agriculture and farmers’ income,we theoretically analyse the mechanism of the impact of digital agriculture development on farmers’ income.Secondly,by analyzing the development status of digital agriculture in Anhui Province,construct a system for measuring the development level of digital agriculture from five dimensions: agricultural development environment,information infrastructure,digitalization of agricultural production,digitalization of agricultural operation and green agricultural production,and use the entropy value method to measure the development level of digital agriculture,and conclude that the overall development level of digital agriculture in Anhui Province continues to improve,and the development level of digital agriculture in all regions of Anhui Province also The development level of digital agriculture in Anhui Province has continued to increase,and the development level of digital agriculture in all regions of Anhui Province has also shown an upward trend,but due to the differences in the level of economic development and infrastructure in different regions,the development level of digital agriculture in each region varies from high to low,among which Hefei has the highest development level.Again,the analysis of the current situation of farmers’ income in Anhui Province concluded that with the rapid economic development,the level of per capita disposable income of rural residents in Anhui Province has been increasing,but there is still a large gap between the income of urban and rural residents in Anhui Province and the income of farmers in each region.Finally,the panel data of 16prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province from 2014-2021 are selected,and the development level index of digital agriculture and farmers’ per capita disposable income are used as variables to construct a two-way fixed-effects model to study the impact of the development level of digital agriculture on farmers’ income in Anhui Province and its regional heterogeneity.The results of the study show that digital agriculture development in Anhui Province has a significant positive effect on farmers’ income,and can increase the level of farmers’ per capita disposable income as the level of digital agriculture development increases.Further research reveals that there is significant regional heterogeneity in the effect of digital agriculture development on farmers’ income,with regions with higher levels of digital agriculture development also having a stronger effect on raising farmers’ income,with the effect being better in central Anhui.Finally,corresponding policy recommendations are proposed to promote the development of digital agriculture in five aspects: strengthening the construction of infrastructure,improving the professionalism of agricultural operators,improving the system of agricultural digital resources,improving the innovation and research of technology,and improving policies related to the development of digital agriculture. |
