Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,mass entrepreneurship has developed rapidly in China and become an important source of China’s economy.To this end,the government work report has repeatedly put the enhancement of entrepreneurship and employment in the first place,and proposed to make good use of inclusive financial support tools to provide financing support for entrepreneurs;at the same time,it is necessary to build digital information infrastructure,promote the construction of a digital society,and empower economic development.Digital foundation provides technical support for digital inclusive finance,and digital inclusive finance provides entrepreneurs with low-cost and diversified financing channels.Therefore,studying the impact of digital foundation and digital inclusive finance on employment is critical to the macroeconomic situation that promotes stable employment in a country.The achievement of the goal has significant theoretical and practical significance.This paper uses the literature research method to sort out and summarize the four aspects of digital inclusive finance,digital foundation,residents’ entrepreneurship and the impact of digital foundation on digital inclusive finance.On this basis,the definitions and initial analysis of the three are summarized.The impact mechanism of the three is reported;the development status of digital foundation,digital inclusive finance and resident entrepreneurship in three regions in my country is reported by comparative analysis;Using the total employment of individuals and private enterprises in each province and city/permanent resident population to measure the entrepreneurship level of the explained variable,the China Digital Financial Inclusion Index released by the Digital Finance Research Center of Peking University was introduced to study the mediating effect of digital foundation on resident entrepreneurship.The fixed-effects model is empirically tested,and 31 provinces and cities are divided into eastern,central,and western regions according to regional characteristics to study the spatial heterogeneity of the impact of digital foundation on entrepreneurship.Heterogeneity of entrepreneurship.In order to prove the reliability of the regression results,this paper adopts the variable substitution method and adds lagged variables to test the robustness.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The digital foundation is conducive to the development of digital inclusive finance and residents’ entrepreneurship;(2)The digital inclusive finance has played a significant intermediary role in the process of digital foundation affecting residents’ entrepreneurship,and the degree of digital support plays an intermediary role.The role of digital finance is the strongest,the coverage of digital finance is second,and the depth of use is the weakest;(3)The impact of digital foundation and digital inclusive finance on residents’ entrepreneurship is different,which is reflected in the following three aspects: The impact of the two on residents’ entrepreneurship in the eastern region The promoting effect of the two is more significant;the two have a greater role in promoting the entrepreneurship of urban residents;the two have a greater role in promoting the entrepreneurship of residents in areas with a good institutional environment.Finally,on the basis of empirical research,this paper gives four suggestions from the perspective of digital foundation and digital inclusive finance development to promote residents’ entrepreneurship:(1)Speed up the construction of new infrastructure and continuously promote the common development of digital society;(2)Strengthen regional(3)Reduce the difference between urban and rural areas and improve the human capital level of disadvantaged groups;(4)Strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights and create a good business environment...
