Research On The Influence Of The Development Level Of Regional Agricultural Industrial Chain On The Diversification Of Agricultural Listed Companies

The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that to accelerate the construction of an agricultural power,it is necessary to solidly promote the revitalization of rural industries,talents,culture,ecology,and organizations,make industrial revitalization a top priority in rural revitalization,actively extend and expand the agricultural industry chain,and cultivate and develop new rural industries and new forms of industry.Industrial revitalization cannot be separated from the development of agricultural enterprises,so it is necessary to promote the good development of agricultural enterprises,play their leading role,and optimize the business layout of agricultural enterprises.The construction of agricultural industrial chain is not only an important starting point for promoting high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas and comprehensively promoting the rural revitalization strategy,but also the only way to achieve the goal of new agricultural modernization.At the same time,industry is an important component of the macro economy,and enterprises are the micro organizations of industry.Currently,the development level of agricultural industrial chains in different regions still varies.As a micro organization of the industrial chain,the operation of agricultural enterprises has been widely affected by regional industrial chains,especially in terms of business layout.Based on this,this article comprehensively examines the differences in the level of agricultural industry chains in different regions of the country and their impact on the diversified business layout of agricultural listed companies in their respective regions.On the basis of reviewing relevant literature,this article combines the theory of enterprise diversification with Coase enterprise theory,enterprise value chain theory,and agricultural industrialization theory to construct the theoretical logic of the impact of regional agricultural industry chain development level on the diversified layout of agricultural enterprises and propose research hypotheses.The entropy method and other methods were used to analyze and evaluate the development level of regional agricultural industry chains and the degree of diversification of agricultural listed companies.Multiple regression analysis and other methods were used to empirically test the impact of regional agricultural industry chain development level on the diversified layout of agricultural listed companies.In the expansion test,the impact of agricultural industry chain development level on the operating performance of agricultural listed companies under different diversified layouts was analyzed.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The development level of regional agricultural industry chain will have a significant impact on the diversified operation of agricultural enterprises;(2)The development level of the agricultural industry chain has a negative impact on the related diversification layout,while it has a significant positive impact on the non related diversification layout;(3)In the expansion test,it was found that the improvement effect of the development level of regional agricultural industry chain on the operating performance of agricultural listed companies mainly occurs in enterprises that engage in related diversified layouts,while agricultural listed companies that do not engage in related diversified business layouts do not show this performance.This result indicates that only when agricultural enterprises engage in diversified business layout,the higher the level of regional agricultural industry chain development,the more conducive it is to improving enterprise performance.Based on the above conclusions,the following steps and proposals are offered as a way to mitigate the issue: the government should formulate and improve the policy system for the development of agricultural industrial chains,and develop the layout of agricultural industrial chains according to local conditions;At the same time,it is necessary to strengthen the effective connection and mutual cooperation of various links in the agricultural industry chain;Agricultural enterprises should optimize their business layout according to the level of regional agricultural industry chain;at the same time,enterprises should adhere to the business layout with agriculture as the main industry,and maintain a cautious attitude towards non related diversified layout.
