Factors Influencing Customers’ Usage Intention Of International Crowdshipping Services | | Posted on:2024-07-07 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Institution:University | Candidate:Ilya Domrachev | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2569307139994729 | Subject:Management Science and Engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Purpose–The purpose of this paper is to investigate the basic factors that can influence the usage intention of common customers to use international crowdshipping platforms.Design/methodology/approach–This study proposes a structural equation model of the usage intention of international crowdshipping services based on the overall perceived trust and benefits expectancy.Data were collected via questionnaires with specific items measured on a seven-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS Statistics Version 25 and Smart PLS 3.2.9.Findings–Results explain 57 percent of the variance and reveal that benefits expectancy exerted by the direct influence of user experience and overall perceived trust exerted by the direct influence of user experience and benefits expectancy have a strong effect on customers’ usage intention of international crowdshipping platforms.In addition,perceived operational risks have no significant influence on overall perceived trust.Practical implications–This study highlights the need for crowd logistics developers to enhance the user experience,establish a more effective cost-benefit model,and cultivate trustworthy brand images for their international crowdshipping business models and the industry as a whole.These improvements are crucial for boosting sales of their commercial products and advancing crowdshipping technologies to new heights.Originality/value–From a theoretical perspective,this study improves international crowd logistics literature where empirical exploration is very limited.This paper also provides strategic development suggestions for platform suppliers and software developers of international crowdshipping services. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | sharing economy, crowd logistics, international crowdshipping, usage intention, overall perceived trust, benefits expectancy | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
