Food is the most important thing for the people.Food safety is closely related to everyone’s health.It is also one of the livelihood issues that the people are most concerned about.The newly established state administration of market supervision and administration in 2018 marks a new stage in China’s exploration of food safety supervision mode in line with China’s national conditions.Huaihua Economic Development Zone of Hunan Province(hereinafter referred to as Huaihua Economic Development Zone)has built a regional trade center and logistics center radiating around the five provinces and a first-class trade and logistics base in Southwest China.It is the base of all kinds of food circulation.The unique development mode of "emphasizing circulation and neglecting production" of food industry in Huaihua economic development zone is of great significance to the Economic Development Zone Branch of Huaihua market supervision and Administration Bureau(hereinafter referred to as market supervision bureau of Huaihua Economic Development Zone)food safety supervision puts forward a new test.The advanced supervision mode is an important guarantee for the vigorous development of the food industry in the area under its jurisdiction.Analyzing the current situation of food safety supervision in Huaihua Economic Development Zone,discussing how to improve the construction of market supervision departments in the area under its jurisdiction and how to give full play to the function of food safety supervision are of great significance to ensuring the health of the people It can also provide optimization ideas for the actual work of food safety supervision in Huaihua economic development zone and even Huaihua.Focusing on the research on the problems and Countermeasures of food safety supervision in Huaihua Economic Development Zone,this paper uses the literature research method to analyze and study the theoretical achievements of many scholars and food supervision workers.Firstly,it expounds the related concepts of food safety and the necessity of food safety supervision;Secondly,under the background of market supervision reform,it summarizes the development of food industry and the current situation of food safety supervision in Huaihua Economic Development Zone by using the methods of interview and investigation,case study and questionnaire,combined with its own work in Huaihua Economic Development Zone,and analyzes the problems existing in the current food safety supervision system in Huaihua economic development zone The efficiency of food safety supervision cannot be fully released,the construction of food safety traceability system lags behind,and the social co governance of food safety supervision is not enough;Then it lists the food supervision measures in foreign developed regions and the innovative practices of other provinces in China,and brings enlightenment to the food safety supervision of Huaihua economic development zone through the method of comparative research;Finally,it puts forward some suggestions that the market supervision bureau of Huaihua economic development zone should promote the integration of functions and responsibilities,adopt the "intelligent supervision" of food safety,build a food safety traceability system suitable for the jurisdiction,and promote the social co governance of food safety,so as to improve the development quality of the food industry in Huaihua economic development zone and provide a reference basis for food safety supervision in the new era.
