In 2005,the promulgation of Listed company equity incentive Management Method made our real equity incentive system established.Various industries are increasingly looking at equity incentives,as is the express delivery industry.Recently,the express industry has been supported by national policies,and with the rise of e-commerce economy,the development is getting better and better,and the market competition is becoming more and more fierce.All major express enterprises are committed to attracting core talents,improving service quality market competitiveness.In this context,equity incentive has become a good entry point.Currently,the development of the theory of equity incentive is mature,but there are few express delivery enterprises that carry out equity incentive in our country and lack of practical experience.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the equity incentive related to the express industry.This paper selects YTO Express,the earliest and most frequently implemented equity incentive in the express industry,as the research object.Firstly,this paper sorts out the literature related to equity incentive and analyzes the paths of relevant theories.Secondly,based on the company’s business characteristics and industry features,this paper adopts the event study method to study its short-term performance,and selects relevant indicators to build a long-term performance evaluation system based on balanced scorecard method and EVA method.Thirdly,this paper simply describes the General information of YTO Company and the status quo of equity incentive in the industry,analyzes its implementation motivation,program content and the unlocking situation,and summarizes the differences of the four stages.Finally,according to the constructed system,the implementation effect of the equity incentive scheme of YTO Express is analyzed and evaluated,and the problems in the equity incentive scheme of YTO Express are summarized and suggestions for improvement were made.This paper believes that the equity incentive plan of YTO Express has made some achievements,but it is still not ideal.The equity incentive policy of YTO Express has responded well in the short-term market,the company’s solvency and development ability have been improved,the education level and professional ability of employees have been optimized and upgraded,customer satisfaction and service quality has been improved.Nevertheless,in the meantime,the profitability of YTO Express has weakened,the turnover rate of incentive objects has remained high,the R&D investment of enterprises has not matched the increasing operating income,and the innovation ability has not been greatly improved.Therefore,YTO Express should have a flexible mix of equity incentive models and tailor them to each individual;motivate employees by expanding the range of motivation targets;and set up multiple performance evaluation indicators and timely adjust them according to market risk.
