The Study On Imaging Fourier Transform Spectroscopy Technology

The development of Fourier Transform Spectroscopy(FTS), the exploitation of Imaging Spectroscopy(IS) in last 20 years and Imaging Fourier Transform Spectroscopy(IFTS)抯 research and applying situation in remote sensing filed, which developed by combining above two technology in last 10 years, are reviewed and summarized in paper. The essential theory, basic configuration and features are analyzed. The Signal-Noise-Ratio(SNR) equation of triangle common-path IFTS is deduced and its related factors are discussed. Design and manufacture of a prototype triangle common-path IFTS are conducted based on applying requirement. A special data management routine is programmed, which can complete data collect, data storage, phase correction, apodization, FFT calculation, one dimension slit images piecing together and display, spectral image picking up and display, spectral curve calculation and display etc. The experimental result indicates that this data management routine is satisfied with data processing of prototype. Experimental setup employed the prototype is designed and configured and experiments concerned are performed with it. The spectrum of He-Ne laser is measured and full width at half maximum(FWI-{M) of 6328nm wavelength spectral line is 7.2nm, this result tallies with prototype抯 theoretical spectral - -resolution(?633 = 6.76nm); The prototype is standardized with the measured laser wavelength; For verifying the spectral resolution and suitability of the prototype in practical application, a low pressure mercury lamp spectrum is measured with it and the spectral resolution achieves the desired performance; For verifying the imaging and spectral measurement performance of the prototype, a spectral imaging experiment is made by irradiated a color laboratory target with Halide-Tungsten lamp, and comparing between target抯 spectral reflectivity curve measured by standard device and calculated reflected spectral characteristic curve from scanning target are undertaken and the curves are correspondently similar. The scanned image is clear and each spectral image feature is obviously prominent; Filed scene spectral imaging experiment is made and get visible near-infrared(VNIR) image. The distant II ~, building抯 windows, placard抯 words and outlines of leaves are clearly discernible and the spectral image features are prominent; The SNR of prototype is measured and possibly existed errors are analyzed.
