The classification and identification on cultural characters of 33 kinds of Aphyllorales, 20 kinds of Agricales-lignicale and one kind Auriculariales in the northeast forest area have been study. The study aims to identify wood-decaying fungi according to their mycelial cultural characters before fruit bodies formed. The results show that extracellular oxidase, color of mycelial mat, and microscopic morphological characters of wood-decaying fungi such as m~hae type, existance and distribution of clamp connection, special construction formed during mycelia differentiation, are important classification and identification foundations. The identification key by means of numerical code was established in accordance with mycelial cultural characters.
