Taking the contemporary advanced, new viewpoint and theory of the sedimentology, the sequence stratigraphy, the reservoir geology and the diagenesis as the instruction, pointing out difficulties of the Cretaceous and Tertiary, lithology and thickness changed largely, and the difficult stratigraphic correlation in Kuche Depression lithological character-stics have correlated system atically and in detail for eachfoumation and member of Cretaceous and Tertiary. Thoroughly studying Cretaceous and Tertiary depositiond characteristic and sedimentary facies vertically and horizontally to the distribution evolution characteristic, taking the sedimentary facies contrast and the stratum depth and the sandstone thickness distribution change as the basis, sedimentary facies distribution systematically had completed in Kuche depression Cretaceous by taking the group as the unit, and taking the lothological section as unit in the Jiedike group of T1 and T3.In the Kuche depression K1, T1, T3, this paper established the sedimentary basin deposition filled the sequence and various basins sedimentary structure evolution stage accumulation sandstone developed mechanism, clarified the accumulation sandstone in stratum rack developed and mapped rule. Pointing out various basins developmental stage early time low position territory alluvial fan fan delta and the later period width shallow lake basin top position territory fan delta, distinguishes the shape delta and the normal delta deposit growth time, which is in the Kuche depression region the high quality sandstone development time. The basin growth intermediate stage, lake entering system territory deposition the great heavy film lacustrine facies mudstone, the paste mudstone, the paste salt crag then has formed in the region high quality cap formation. The kuche depression in K1 and T3, basin growth evolved the unique gradual structure, the deposition characteristic has controlled the Cretaceous and Tertiary, forming region multiwraps high quality reservoirs and covers combination overlapped. In the development reservoir diagenesis characteristic research foundation, the systematic diagenetic evolution sequence is established in Kuche depression Cretaceous Tertiary. The growth mechanism of fine grain clastic rock reservoirs are discussed. The reservoir developed evolution pattern is established for the fine grain clastic stone. This research progress provided the key group section reservoir characteristics and the performances are appraised for Jjiedike group in the Cretaceous and T3, T1. Based on the analysis of controlling factor for reservoir development, the thickness of sandstone, research on porosity changed, the key accumulation reservoir has been carried out the quality synthetic evaluation forecast, pointing out the advantageous accumulation area belt. Finally, taking the Kumugelimu group paste salt crag...
