At present, decisions of production and settings of optimum operation still depend on experiences of local operators in large and middle scale sintering plants in China. Sintering process state and stabilization decide quality and quantity of sinter. So it is urgent to develop control guidance systems for sintering process state to make operation stable and realize optimal control of the whole sintering production.After detailed research for sintering process, the whole sintering process is divided into three stages of formation, movement and disappearance of reaction zone. The optimal idea of subsection judgment and integrated optimization is put forward.On the basis of analysis to mechanism of sintering process, mathematic models of main status parameters of every stage are established, which make sintering vitrification, and offer foundation to predictive model and optimal control of process.Predicted models of rising position of gas temperature, burn through point, vertical sintering speed, and so on, are established using dada analysis method.
