Through giving the analysis of the reasons of drop bucket in mine coal, the OOB theoretical model of drop bucket is proposed. Based on this model, KBG4 quantitative poidometer is designed firstly, and it is used to control quantitative loading. In this design, vibrating-stringed pressure sensor is the most important part, and its theoretical model, operating principle, mechanical technics design, energizer design, formula calibration, and so on,are studed. In order to prevent winch overloading, the LJ-2 main shaft signal and automatic loading system is designed. It associates skipping unloading in the back cut of the shaft with quantitative loading and unloading at the bottom of the shaft organically. It proposes a secure hoisting closed method, named as "empty loading-quantitative loading", which is used to prevent skipping twice and transferring remnant coal to a lower level, and it avoids winch overloading effectively. The paper still analyses the reason of the drop bucket accidents caused by the hoisters' peccant hoisting. Besides, it establishes four models of artificial error and proposes "1421" preventive measures. The reliability of winch brake system is also the main factor of hoisting security. Therefore, the paper designes PJ-1 working state monitoring warning device of disc brake. It detects real-time disc brake space and measures oil pressure and idle motion time of the disc brake, which can be used to judge the state of winch brake system. Through these measures, drop bucket of hoisting system in main shaft is controlled effectively, and it also ensures the safety of mine coal main shaft.
