The paper is made under the background of higher production coal mines construction and higher demand to the subsidiary shaft of hoisting system for coal production increasing, in view of existing situation, do research to subsidiary shaft of hoisting system, not only has theoretical significance, but also has important guidance to production.This paper first introduces basic information of reliability in order to found the reliability model of hoisting system. Through the research of system structure of hoisting system, founding the reliability model of auxiliary shaft hoisting system, at the same time, do a detailed analysis of the model. Combined with the actual production of Baodian, finding out the weakness tache of the system. Analyses the multifocal of Brake Failure Accidents using Fault Tree, finding out the deficiencies. While, according to the practice the paper analyses Man-Equipment-Environment influence factors of the subsidiary shaft hoisting system, summarizes the maintenance experience of the subsidiary shaft hoisting system, discusses the maintenance, maintenance strategy and methods, the basic quality requirement of the staff and so on. All these raise operable instructional principle of maintenance to the subsidiary shaft hoisting system.In the end, combined with the practice instance of the subsidiary shaft hoisting system of Baodian-mine, analyses the reliability problem of the subsidiary shaft hoisting system, derived from the reliability model of Baodian-mine, the weakness tache are hoisting machine and loading and unloading equipment for mine hoisting container, for these weak taches, propose ways and measures to improve system reliability and the needs to improve the capacity, all these gives reference observations to Baodian-mine safety production.
