Skin will be damaged and organic molecule will be photodegradated when exposed to high-energy ultraviolet light for a long period of time. Recent years, because exhaust gas pollutes aerosphere, quantity of ultraviolet radiation is increased year after year and it is harmful to people's healthiness. So, it is very important to find disperse dyes which can be against ultraviolet radiation. However, ultraviolet absorber has the ability of converting high-energy ultraviolet light into low-energy light or heat which is harmless to human body and organic molecule. In order to make disperse dyes absorbing ultraviolet radiation, to protect human body from ultraviolet radiation by dyed costume, hydroxyphenyl triazine and benzophenone moieties are introduced into dyes. Then twenty disperse dyes which can absorb ultraviolet light and transfer energy are synthesized.Firstly, paper studies the synthesis of intermediates containing triazine moiety. 3-a cetylamino-N,N-diethyl aminobenzene is staring material, by hydrolysis, condensation with cyanuric chloride, Friedel-Crafts reaction with resorcinol under the catalysis of aluminum trichloride, alkylation, and three intermediates containing triazine moiety are synthesized: 2-(3-N,N-diethylphenyl)amino-4,6-di(2,4-dihydroxy)phenyltriazine; 2-(3-N,N -diethylphenyl)amino-4,6-di(2-hydroxy-4-methoxy)phenyltriazine; 2-(3-N,N-diethylphenyl)a mino-4,6-di(2-hydroxy-4-ethoxy)phenyltriazine; The chemical structures of the intermedi ates are confirmed by IR, MS, ~1HNMR, ~1H-~1HgCOSY.Secondly, three amino-benzophenone derivatives as diazo components are synthesized by Friedel-Crafts, alkylation, catalytic hydrogenation from 3-nitrobenzoyl chloride, 1,3-dimethoxybenzene(resorcinol) as staring material. Another four intermediates as coupling components are synthesized by N-alkylation of amino-benzophenone derivatives. Using single-factor experimentation, the process for synthesis of two key compounds (2-hydroxy4-methoxy-3'-nitrobenzophenone, 2,4-dihydroxy-3'- nitrobenzophenone) was studied and yield of them is 71.8%, 65% respectively. The chemical structures of the intermediates are confirmed by IR, MS,~1HNMR.Finally, using above mentioned intermediates, totally twenty new disperse dyes are synthesized. Reacting three novel couplers containing triazine moiety with the diazonium salt derived from p-chloroaminobenzene , p- nitroaminobenzene, and 2-cyano-4-nitro-6-bromoaminobenzene gives nine disperse dyes. The structures of the dyes are determined by MS spectrum. Three yellow disperse dyes are synthesized by reacting three...
