Eco-environment problems in source regions of Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang Rivers are one of pop issues that are currently attentioned by all circles, and the regional differentiation laws of environmental factors and ecological function regionalization are the key things that must be urgently sovled in order to serve for environmental building and protection in the region. Tightly integrating the one-up issue of the subject ecology and the pop questions attentioned by all circles, and based on lots of data,field survey and ArcGIS research technic, this thesis analyzed the regional differentiation laws of the environment factors,and the social and economical conditons,and appraised the structure of the land used for keeping ecosytem balance, the natural condition distribution,the evrionmental sestivity and the ecosystem service fuction essentiality. Then the thesis finished the research of natural regionalization and ecological function regionalization based on the regional differentiation of the environment factors,in order to offer important gist for eco-environment builing and protection, as well as hastening social and economical progress.The main content and results are as following:1.On the basis of field investigation and by the using of former research, statistical data, spatial data and ArcGIS technology, the thesis summarized natural resources and social and economical conditions and its characters in the river sources region, and pointed out the main ecological problems;2.According to lots of data and based on ArcGIS research technic,the thesis wholely analyzed the environmental and regional differentiation such as hypsography, physiognomy, climate, soil, water resource, vegetation, biodiversity, etc.3.According to the ecological and environmental characteristics of this region, the research established a quantitative index system taking wet coefficient as the first class index and≥0℃accumulated temperature as the second class index, then by refering to the qualitative indexes such as physiognomy and other natural ecological characteristics, the ecological environment of this region was divided into 4 ecological regions, 12 sub-ecological regions, 21 ecological zones and respectively described their characteristics.4.Under the condition of sufficient ecological land, the research pointed out the distribution of ecologically brittle region, ecological security region and ecological protection region through the analysis of natural conditions, ecological sensibility and ecological service function.5. Following the principiaes of continuable development and forecasting, the ecological function and the ecnomical function unification,the regional differentiation of the environmental sestivity and the ecosystem service fuction essentiality,dominant ecological function , comparability and otherness and the theory of modern ecology and regionalization, according to ecological sensitivity, ecological service function, main ecological problems, environmental and regional differentiation conditions and technology of ArcGIS, the paper chose biodiversity protection, most important information about water conservation as ecological service function, desertification control, important and most important information about water and soil conservation as main indexes, then through the consideration of current industry model and urbanization system and other related analysis, the river sources region was divided into 10 ecological function regions respectively was biodiversity protection ecological function region, desertification control ecological function region, water and soil conservation ecological function region, water source conservation ecological function region, compound ecological function region of desertification control and biodiversity protection, compound ecological function region of desertification control and water and soil conservation, compound ecological function region of water and soil conservation and water source conservation, compound ecological function region of water source conservation and biodiversity protection, ecological function region of agriculture and stockbreeding, and ecological function region of urbanization development, also a series of maps with same scale were available. After characteristic description, the thesis discussed ecological control measures looking forward to providing guidelines for ecological protection and construction in different regions.Creation in the thesis can be summarized as the following two points:1.More enriched basic data for the research in source regions of Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang River.2.Padded the research vacancy of ecological function regionalization in source regions of Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang River.
