Ecological Function Regionalization Of Shanghai

Ecological function regionalization is a kind of geographic spatial division, which based on the layout of ecosystem stress and effect, ecological sensitivity and ecological service importance. This ecological regional layout method is embodiment of special different of social- nature ecosystem, and accord with the sustainable development of society and economic. Ecological function regionalization of Shanghai can enhance the international competition, and promote the construction of economic finance, trade and ship of Shanghai.On the basic data of 34 eco-environmental factors of Shanghai, This dissertation adopted the Geological Information of System (GIS) method, evaluated eco-environment of Shanghai, including assessment of nature-society factors, the current eco-environment situation, regional ecosystem sensitivity and its service importance assessment.First, the result of assessment of eco-environment sensitivity was as follow: the extremely sensitive area to water-environment was distributed on the waterhead protective area in Hupujiang up-reach, Chenhang reservoir, Changjiang estuary and Qingcaosha water area, the high sensitive area was distributed on the waterhead programming protective area in Hupujiang up-reach. The extremely sensitive area to atmosphere-environment was distributed on the north area of Chongming Island, She mountain, Dianshan Lake, Taiyang Island and Jinshan three islands, the high sensitive area was distributed on the Songjiang Chengxian Town, Jiading Chengxian Town, Nanxiang Town and Zhujiajiao Town. The extremely sensitive area to biodiversity was distributed on the east Chongming Island, Jiuduansha, Jinshan Three Islands and Changjiang estuary, the high sensitive area included Sheshan and west Qingpu lakes. The extremely sensitive area to heat island environment was distributed on the central district in the city and suburb town.Second, the result of importance assessment of regional ecosystem service shown: Shanghai was typical international metropolis; the main ecosystem of Shanghai was city and town ecosystems, different form other natural ecosystem, and the main service function included such as finance service, education service, traffic and transport providing, habitation providing, business service and hotel and tour service. Pudong and Nanhui were centralization area of finance and material conveyance service, Central district of Shanghai mainly provided economic modern service, suburb area was distribution of modern agriculture base, advanced manufacturing centralization area and new development towns, Chongming three islands was character of modernization eco-island. The extremely importance area of primary production of ecosystem was distributed on the Jinqiao town, Huamu town, Gaojing town and Songnan town. The extremely importance area of biodiversity keeping and protection was distributed on the tidal wetland and water area of Changjiang estuary, Jinshan three islands, the important area included Sheshan and West Qingpu Lakes.
